has been sacked 60 times, 22 so far this year. Not the mobile threat like we have faced so many times this year. They just lost to a backup QB for Georgia who was 12 of 16 for 71 yards, no TDs and a pick and, combined with the starter to go 20 of 30 for 136 yards and zero TDs.
I like our chances to get pressure on the youngster, slow them down and get some turnovers.

My guess is we will see Manning in for some running. We haven’t stopped the run most of the year.

Texas appears to be a good matchup for our 3 linebacker set and allows us to send pass rushers from all over the place.

Wes scheme can not handle a running QB. That is good news. Now cover the RB out of the backfield and the tight end and we do much better not allowing 3rd down conversions. Are you listening WES?

That Georgia defense shut down our offense completely. I mean, my though is Manning will play a big part in the game next Friday...he is a much better runner and obviously Clemson can struggle to keep QB contained....Wes and the defense need to fix this issue, but Manning also has a great arm.
How Ewers is still starting I do not know, but Manning riding the pine seems perfectly happy to do it. I guess 2025 is his season to shine, let us hope that our Tigers allow them to go ahead and work on next season after beating them!!!

First games are odd affairs. I think we didn't know what we could do and we were beaten before the game started.
We are much better since that game.
Manning has just 4 carries since the first of November. They can't just bring him in to run the ball and expect to have success if that is all he does.

I don't think Ewers is going to run and I don't think they're going to throw Manning out there to rush either.
I think they will try and screen us if we are too aggressive on the DL. One of Sark's specialties.

I believe the UGA defensive line is more likely to apply pressure to a QB than the Clemson defensive line which might explain his performance against UGA...

We are gonna see Arch Manning a lot! It's the playoffs and Sark will not hold the running QB against a team that cannot stop the running QB.
