Yep. The end of CFB has begun. I originally said 10 years before it would be so ridiculous with the NIL that I could not watch it (and I am pretty die hard when it comes to Saturday college football). Now I think we may be on more of the 5 year time line unless something is done.

Do these idiots realize there is no sport if no one watches.

Well they only care about the big school, they figure their fan bases are big enough to fund everything. I’m fine with players being able to profit off of their name it’s their name but schools openly buying players is ########

Not really. Do you not think 100 plus presidents will out 20 schools? When this happens hopefully things change. If not, no it will not be enough.

There will also be fans of these larger schools that are CFB fans that decide to tune out.

If Clemson were Texas, would you not be disappointed over what just occurred? I would. I have enough intelligence to understand this is not good for the overall health of the sport.

I dont think they will. NCAA was smart with this stupid decision. The players were going to get paid soon and they found a way where the NCAA didn't have to do it. Now they get to keep all the money and let outside sources pay the athletes. If the NCAA paid the students the schools would have a huge amount of money cut from their budget. Now a whole bunch of new businesses, famous boosters, and non profits are getting in the business. Now they have billionaires flexing in an arms race. NIL is something an evil villain would come up with. If anything they might try to set limits but I dont see NIL ever going away.

The Aggies were never in play. He obviously wasn't going to Tech or TCU.

Sark should provide him good prep for the NFL. He may even save Sark's job for a couple of years.
