Quick Question On Last Personal Foul

So they got the first down and then there was a personal foul after the end of the play that gained first down for a personal foul

Why was it then 1st and 10 instead of 1st and 25?

Seriously asking because I didn't understand it.

Should note I'm aware they moved ball back. But just asking why it was 1st and 10 though.

Referring to the play where the last FSU thug got ejected for punching our guy on sideline for clarity.

But anyways, I guess I'll just assume officials made an error and it should have been 1st and 25 for the next down after that penalty.

If it's a dead ball foul on a play where the offense gets a first down, they mark off the 15 and it is first and 10. It's just the rule. No real reason.
