Quick few notes for the Georgia game

Aug 28, 2013, 10:48 AM

I was at the practice facility the other day for the mock scrimmage for Georgia. They did a lot of situational things and with playing the scout team, it was kind of hard to gauge the georgia game as a whole. But i did notice a few things i thought i would mention:

1. Martavis Bryant will have a breakout game against Georgia and the rest of the season. He looked great at the scrimmage running intermediate routes at the 9 position and he even caught a hailmary in an end of half situation. Look for Bryant to have at least 5-7 catches on Saturday with over a 100 yards.

2. Darrel Smith is more than just a blocker. He looked good in the passing game with soft hands and good speed. From a production standpoint, Smith probably wont be allen or ford but will be more than capable.

3. The offense was moving faster than last year. Morris has emphasized this his whole career at Clemson. We saw a jump in speed from 2011 to 2012 and it will be no different this year. Morris was mixing up tempo at the scrimmage but the offense looked in freakishly good shape.
