No need to defrost, that's a waste of time.
Microwave until just before it explodes. The key is knowing when that is.

Among other things, I am thankful that the mods allow non football and non Clemson related topics. How else would we be able to know the answer to questions that we might be afraid to ask? Last year I tried the no-thaw full power method. It didn’t produce satisfactory results. The year before, I used defrost mode and the microwave’s T(hanksgiving) V(ersion) dinner mode. That wasn’t very good either. Maybe my microwave is defective?

No defrosting needed.
Microwave on high in 5 minute intervals. After fourth cycle remove at the end of each cycle and drop the Turkey on the countertop (from about 9” high). You’ll know it’s done when the Turkey bounces! ??????

The key is wrapping it completely in aluminum foil. That takes the place of defrosting.

They will fit in my microwave. I microwave them 20 minutes before I put them in the smoker for 8 hours. The largest I have done is 22 lbs, but I am sure another 3 would go just fine.

1) Fill 3-4 Balloon with water and stuff cavity full of balloons
2) Deep Cryo Freeze Turkey to About -20 F
3) Triple Wrap the Turkey in Aluminum Foil
4) Go Into Your Circuit Breaker Box Remove The Fuse to Your Microwave and Jam a Ball of Steel Wool in the Spot the Fuse used to be
5) Turn on All your natural gas appliances etc in the house but don't light them
6) Close and Seal All Windows and Doors
7) Place Turkey in Microwave at Highest Setting for 3 Hours
8) Push the ON button and run Like Jake Bentley Being Chased by Big Dex
9) Call Fire Department
10) Post Pigs on TNET of results
11) OPTIONAL STEP-Invite all your coot friends neighbors etc. to sit in your family room

Just cook on medium power for 20 mins. Then turn it inside out and cook for another 20 mins.
