My opinion

It is very obvious to me:
KB: Better runner Most experience Most swag Most leadership Ready
TL: Better thrower Higher ceiling Watson like demeanor Not quite ready
KB is great, but TL could be better real soon.
Keep playing both and bringing TL along. When the time is right, make the switch.

Absolutely great that Clemson has two studs who can get the job done. No question, TL will eventually be the qb before too long. KB will be the best backup in the nation, IMO. And will still get snaps.

Couldn't agree with you more. 2 good QB's that do different things. No reason not to bring TL along slowly and keep everyone focused on getting better so we are playing are best at the end of the year. If things work out like we hope TL takes over full time at the end of the year after gaining valuable experience without putting Clemson in a spot where we lose a game we shouldn't.

Because you aren't comparing two dual threats, maybe? You'd then have to look at the RB rushes with Kelly vs with Trevor, which then means total TD's of each drive they led. You can't act like Trevor's passing doesn't open up the run more for the running backs to get more TD's. That'd be lying to yourself.

You can't just look TL drives vs KB drives because more of KBs were against A&M while more of TLs were against GSU. Let's stop comparing them and let it all work out. TL is great and improving. Kb is doing dang good and we are great with both. If one separates that is great.

TL had drives against A&M in the first half and 2nd half as well.

Not as many tho. I'm not knocking TL just trying to support KB seeing that he has had a good year and has improved on the deep ball.

I'm not saying Lawrence won't or can't win the job, but so far he hasnt taken it from Kelly.

TL is also pulled out when the going gets tough, I feel KB gets more chances because they know what he will do and overcome.. No excuses I definitely didn't expect KB to have even been close with passing stats and I'm very proud of him but certain moments like 2x this weekend he missed a TD throw and that pick both from not having enough zip on it which of course he gets criticized a ton for because of the struggles last year but at the end of the day we're blessed to have two competitors as humble as these guys are. KB could've been like Hurts and bashed our coaches publicly and shown it with his body language but he hasn't. Both guys make me proud.

The money passing stat for me is yards per ATTEMPT. How do KB and TL compare on that?

Really small sample size by Lawrence has had at least three drops on shorter routes that WRs weren’t ready for.

Thanks for the breakdown, this is much easier to understand the gameplay. If these are from you, any way you can show how the offense did around them? Like YPC for our RB's or how long we had the ball etc?
