I guess Im a traditionalist. Im down for Orange jerseys and white pants at home and all white on the road.
Great teams stick with traditional unis. Bama, USC, Ohio St, Texas, you always know whatcha gonna get. I think the cockboys have worn 5 or 6 helmets in the last 25 yrs and they change their unis like underwear.
Oh, and ban the WOOHOO too.

Sometimes for a big game, it is good to fire up the team with something special. I was worried the team would be flat this week. I don't have that worry any more. And they represent D-Rods purple heart on military appreciation day. It don't get no better than that. I am all in.

I agree. Trash the purple uniforms. The only people you see wearing purple are pimps on Bourbon Street.

Ohio State wore Pro Combats the other year. Michigan is on their 5th road uniform since 1996, plus had the Under the Lights uniform last year. Things change...

Have they come out in all yellow, with green accents...they could look like a team of Big Birds.

And this year, I'm even more approving because they actually mean something (purple hearts--purple uniforms-- Lt. Dan leading the charge, who is also a purple heart recipient).

the Ford days...And I kinda like the all purple. But agree with you generally--only teams like USuCk change their unis like jockstraps, which they also look like.

Wearing purple, which is a school color, every once in a while isn't a sin, and shouldn't be considered one.
Some of you people act like wearing purple unis for one game means we can never wear orange again. It's not like we are wearing black and garnet! Calm down people.

Anyone that trashes purple is not a true fan. It is tradition and it is one of our colors. It's also nice to get some variety once in a while. All purple should be used for special games, as should all orange.

Is the best, no doubt about it.
Having said that, wearing the same thing year in and year out, every single game can be a little monotonous.
Mixing it up every now and then (like once a year) is fine.
What better day to wear purple than on Military Appreciation Day? Purple Jerseys to honor Purple Hearts.
Having said that...I'm not a huge fan of all Purple, so I'd prefer Purple on White, or Purple on Orange.
