I got tickets, going w my father in law. Not really sure what all goes on. I guess the coaches speak and we have dinner.

Should be a good time though.

May 12, 2014, 10:16 PM

The 2014 Prowl and Growl tour is heading to Charlotte on Thursday, May 29th at 5:30 PM.

The Clemson Alumni Association, Clemson Fund and IPTAY are excited to partner with the Charlotte Clemson Club to bring head football coach, Dabo Swinney, head men’s basketball coach, Brad Brownell, and Clemson University Athletics Director, Dan Radakovich to your area.

The Charlotte Prowl and Growl will take place at the Myers Park Country Club, 2415 Roswell Avenue with doors opening at 5:30 PM and the program will begin at 6:45 PM.

Tickets for the event are $30 per adult (Clemson Club Member) and $40 (non-members) before May 25th and $15 for children. Tickets purchased after May 25th will be $45 per adult and $20 per child.

To purchase tickets for the Charlotte Prowl and Growl, visit www.charlotteclemsonclub.com or www.facebook.com/CharlotteClemsonClub

The reservation deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, May 23rd.

Everyone who fills out their ticket and gives it to the Clemson Fund representative at the meeting will receive a Tiger Rag to take home with them. A portion of all tickets goes back to the Clemson Fund to help with Alumni Participation and provide valuable scholarship dollars for your local Clemson students.

We hope to CU in Charlotte!

Went to the one in Aiken a couple of weeks ago. Got the propaganda from the Alumni Association and IPTAY, and then D Rad made some general comments. Audra Smith (WBB coach spoke a few minutes. She was impressive. Munson (the voice of the Tigers) then facilitated questions from the floor for Coaches Swinney and Brownell. The two biggest reactions from the crowd? 1) when a guy applauded Dabo for being faithful to his Christian beliefs, and 2) when a guy thanked Brownell for beating SCAR. All Dabo could do was smile wryly.

Would have liked to hear some prepared statements from the coaches first, but all in all, a good eventing. Coaches were available for autographs and handshakes beforehand.

P&G @ Fluor Field tomorrow night

May 13, 2014, 8:37 AM

Usually at the Greek Church downtown, but they've got their Greek Festival this weekend (which BTW is great, go if you haven't been) to get ready for. Should be interesting to see how they'll do it at Fluor. Just hope we can beat Furman there tonight...

Can't find a sitter. Is it OK to take the kids? Is it acceptable to take the kids? Am I going to annoy the #### out of some folks if I take my kids?
