Proud to be a Clemson Tiger - in particularly....

Nov 25, 2012, 9:01 PM

I'm proud that most of us - and our team, as far as I could tell - can take a loss with some measure of class. As opposed to the ##### who seem proudest of a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty - on a play where, yes, Ellington took a great hit, but also got a first down and held on to the ball in spite. Celebrate the hit all you want - it was a good, clean hit. But not the penalty. I don't ever want to be part of a team that celebrates crap like that - but it fits for the #####.

I wish we had won. I think we have the talent to have won. But we didn't and life goes on. But I'm glad that I'm not celebrating the unsportsmanlike and classless actions of a Clemson player. Clemson is still the better university, with the better fans, with the better campus, and with the hottest chicks ;)

Really? So, Clemson fans are above that sort of thing? How many Clemson fans STILL have their Tigernet icons from actions in the Brawl Game of 2004? You guys won that game, quite handily, but it was an immediate point of pride for many in your "wonderful" fan base.

I recall the cops walking toward the chickens' bench in riot formation.

Nice rebuttal. The 2004 ordeal was a disaster for both programs.

There is a reason that USuCk is the laughingstock of the SEC

Yes you are having a little bit of success...arguably the best 2 years ever...and the problem is that you/players/fans can't act like you have been there. There is no sportsmanship from the dirtpeckers side...it's all thug mentality from the Ol ball sack, swearinger, to doodoo Clowney.

Funny thing is

Most of the Clemson fans who posted their experiences from last night mentioned no in-your-face trashtalk or arrogance.

Yeah, I'm sure the fans did what fans do. I'm sure plenty of people celebrated but it doesn't seem like it was rude or hateful. Fact is, I think we just expected to win.

And the only laughter I hear isn't directed to USC.
