Long time Clemson fan but rarely do I ever post. I know the comments sure to be heading my way but oh well I’ve got to vent. This teams attitude and the attitude of this program ever since Scott/Venables left is ridiculous. For example-watching Cades post game presser- I’ll never give up on my guys I just want to be remembered for never giving up on my guys etc. This aint a soap opera. Then you got Dabo running around talking about graduation success rates and Clemsons success in producing leaders and all that. Don’t get me wrong that’s great but why sacrifice the program HE BUILT? This program is in serious decline and if you can’t see that you need your eyes checked. Save all the Dabos my guy comments ,or go home coot comments , or even the you obviously you don’t remember the Bowden years comments bc I do and that’s exactly where we’re headed again. I remember when Dabo took over the program and cleaned house after he promised he’d fix it and to his credit he did. The coach we have now is not the same guy. Something has changed. In years past 2,3,4 days a week when you came on T-NET Dabo or the OCs or DCs were taking an interview about practice, players and updates on facilities or whatever. Now it’s crickets. This is not the same guy from the Gamecock rant years back, or the BYOG . Something has changed! Watching Dabos press conference yesterday was no different than any of the last few seasons. He will not admit he’s wrong nor will he do anything to change the trajectory of this program. I’m not a Dabo hater but him nor anyone else is bigger than Clemson. If I don’t produce in my job I’m replaced, this is no different. It’s not personal I respect everything Dabo has done but if he’s not willing to do what’s needed to stay on top then get out of the way and he continues to prove he’s not willing to budge.
