Absolutely cutigerbob®, that was always one the things that would never set well with me. Most of us here come here for the very same thing and that is to get news about the sports our favorite teams play, and to take to name calling is taking it wayyyy to far.
I don't think that there is a single member of this board come here to be called anything other than the screen name that they chose for themselves. I'm 100% in favor of the banhammer for anyone that's calling another member an IDIOT or any other unsavory ugly names.
Most all of us have our own orange glasses, and most of us feel that our blood is Clemson Tiger orange and we're totally underserving of being attacked with name calling!!!

severely over-estimated his ability to analyze the intersection of the law and college athletics. He undersands plenty - he's certainly no dummy, but he liked to over-simplify matters and shut down conversations just by summarily asserting that "federal law" (by which he really just meant the U.S. Supreme Court) was violated by just about any NCAA amateurism restriction. He was toxic and his arguments were simplistic, annoying, and lame. Good riddance.

Glad she's gone. Being from that part of the state myself - we aren't all like that. Pretty sure she's a northern transplant - they are an invasive species that are fouling the schools, roads and woods in this here part of the state. Eradication methods aren't working as they are relatively adaptable and from appearances looks like regular folks. One giveaway though is a "hey y'all) sticker on their car window. 100% of the time, it's one of them.

Back in the 80's Bluffton used to be HATED for being a speed trap for folks on their way to Hilton Head. Not sure if it still is but I can guarantee 98% of the inhabitants would need a dictionary to translate the big words he used.
