But does his support extend to the SNAP program, expanded Medicaid, public education, extending citizenship to DACA children and other services that support economically disadvantaged children? If so, then it shows some second level thinking and legitimizes his pro life / children position.

My moral imperative to help her is a little more urgent and deeper if I see someone running at her with a knife in the parking lot. My desire to help her not get murdered is not at odds with my unwillingness to pay for the groceries of every person I see at the store using SNAP.
You could take this stretch you’re trying to make and extend it to anything. “If he doesn’t want kids to get killed in the womb, then he needs to donate an organ to a senior citizen because they were fetuses once too! ”

The quality of life outside the womb is far better than dead before entering. Period. So your point is moot.
Ever see videos of kids in Tanzania or Kenya…really an impoverished place? Many times they are smiling while kicking around a can as a soccer ball. I am not saying that is ideal, but I guarantee they have a mom and a dad in their home/hut busting their ### each day to sustain an existence….and they have a general sense of right/wrong and what it takes to sustain life.
You equation is false and lies directly on the parent. Not the child. Parents and lack their of is the issue and that is not the child’s fault.
Let them enter the world before killing them.

That could be an interesting motto for the Pro-life movement. What’s the preferred method of killing children _ starvation, bombs, AR15s, hand guns, drugs, illness due to inadequate health care, suicide as a teenager etc. Or maybe that child survives , lives a happy life and contributes to society?
But the statement highlights the moral dilemma with the entire abortion debate. When does a Christian and civilized society stop providing for the health and safety of children (and which children)? At birth or is there a moral responsibility to do more?

When the pediatric neurosurgeon ,at 5 month gestation,tells you that your daughter will likely die in utero and certainly will not survive more than a few hours after birth and due to her exposed spinal cord her only life experience will be extreme pain you make the right decision for your child. I was clearly mistaken in thinking “parents” meant a male and a female who have conceived a child together.
