buffet and have never been disappointed. It is in the Westin Poinsett.
I also like Roost. I have heard Biscuit Head is good, but I have never been there.
Stax Omega is very good, but it is not in Downtown Greenville.
This may help if you trust their ratings - https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurants-g54258-zfp2-Greenville_South_Carolina.html

Biscuithead is great. If you want more upscale, flying biscuit is very good

I think the best downtown breakfast is the Roost (Hyatt Hotel). It's a buffet - serve yourself.
Another good one is Flyin' Biscuit on S. Main St.
Coffee Underground is OK - not the best, but not bad.

They serve a breakfast/brunch menu. It was very good the last time I was there.
However, if I want the best breakfast place, I'm driving out to Stax Omega on Orchard Park Dr.

Best downtown breakfast spots are Maple Street, Tupelo Honey, & Flying Biscuit, hands-down.
If you're willing to drive a little, the original Stax diner on Poinsett Highway is close to downtown, as is OJ's Diner on Pendleton Street.
