Oh, I did

and it crushed the mfer. I bough another strap-wrench and it crushed it more. I bought the wrench that fits on the end but did not fit after filter had been warped.
I eventually ripped the enter thing off except for the end that is screwed / baked on.
I threw my ratchet across the yard at one point.
Anyways, mechanic seemed like a good dude. Says he will prolly charge me an hour to get the rest of the filter off. He suggested I should change the impeller (he charges $150). I changed one on my 90 by myself but the 115 may be too heavy for me and I do not want to work on my boat anymore after Saturday.

I've talked with him before, I think he was just so backed

up at the time I ended up taking it somewhere else. He used to have a dude who worked for him who drove a 4wheeler everywhere he went, we'd see him at the bar at Famous Pizza all of the time. Always had a gut feeling that he was an insult or small slight away from going on a murderous rampage. He may not work there anymore, I dunno. but yes the main guy did seem like an OK fella.
He mercruiser certified or whatever? I gotta have that for warranty reasons.

It's hard to find somebody that can do something in less than a week. Yeah, he said one other guy works with him but he was there by himself yesterday.
I don't know if he is certified, I would assume he is but would call beforehand.

When Yankee Joe included me in his list on Friday morning my weekend was already made. 11/10 thanks to him
Friday - Yankee Joe includes TOTE1 in his list of what makes the jounge the jounge. I was so elated that I ordered a PEN15 from 19b and at lunch I told my boss adios and took to the hut. I packed up my car, waited on chickof to get there a few friends, then headed off to Banner Elk for the whole weekend.
Saturday - Up early and on the slushy slopes with chickof. Put her in lesson and rode off into the wild blue yonder on my chairlift. Skied all day, no injuries, crashed hard Saturday night.
Sunday - Up a little later than early and went snow tubing. Packed the car up afterward and came home, washed clothes cooked dinner and watched ep 1 of Black Sails, then I watched Arrival. That movie was hyped as something it didn't turn out to be. Would not do again.
11/10 weekend thanks to Yankee Joe

friday--left work about 3:30 and had a couple of beers with my soccer committee to make sure everything was good for Sunday.
Left bar and needed to change into blazer/button down uniform for work party. Also had to unleash a tdrake. Stopped at the hotel closest to the work party. Walked in like a normal guest, found the first floor bathrooms and well...did my thing. changed into button down, threw on blazer and walked out like a new man.
arrived at party. cool chinese new year theme. great food from Cru Catering. grateful dead tribute band: The Reckoning were awesome.
did some networking. my networking buddy who is the wedding planner for a local venue revealed that she tells everyone that i am her work husband. those feels.
they had a roaming oyster shucker to serve up some delicious bivalves. he had a belt of toppings, hot sauce, cocktail sauce, etc. he asked what we wanted on top and like a boss, i say "some vodka, a shot glass and some cocktail sauce." he says, "well i wasn't supposed to this until later, but since you asked...." he shucks the oyster, tops it with tabasco and hands it to me, i slurp it down and he now has a bottle of tequila in his hand. he pours the shot into the empty shell and i get a shot of tequila mixed with the last bit of oyster saltiness. 10/10 would do again and again and again.
saturday--typical mt pleasant day, target, grocery store, etc before noon. cooked up my fake black jack sammies on the BGE. went to the outlaws house and drank beer on the dock with father in law. saw a dolphin doing the beaching feeding and was amazed by nature. right after that show was over, we got a flyover from a bald eagle. 10/10 nature was awesome.
sunday--7:45 AM at C of C soccer fields, stayed until close to 7 pm. watched soccer, raised money and spent time with some friends. Overall we are darn close to raising $50k from this event to put solely back into our charities budget. Not a dime is used for admin or anything else, it ALL goes back into the community. 10/10 Rotary fundraising success.
ate a couple of slices of za, had a victory beer, and enjoyed the 2nd trimester AGAIN.
10/10 would do again.
TL;DR--bailed on work, awesome party, nature, fundraising, #####.

Buzzworthy.

Like, I had a buzz for most of it.
Friday: porchdranks at frans' house, fire pit, before I know it 4pm turned into midnight. Whoops.
Saturday: met old HS fran/college roomie at 167 Raw on E. Bay for a dozen on the half shell (titties), a tuna burger (titties), and ahi poke with guacamole (titties). Also got a bottle of B'rose, and them sumbitches tapped what I believe is the first keg of 2017 Mexican Cake in all of Charleston while we were sitting there. It might be my favoritest beer in the world, and it's knockout good with fresh seafood.
Sunday: Irish whiskey tasting; spent 2+ hours getting educated on the Irish distilling industry (there's not much to speak of) and eating good grub at Bar Mash.
9/10, wood dew again.

Friday, got home from work and played with the pup to drain her battery a little, started drankin' beers in an attempt to clean out some of the older stock from the beer fridge, got hungry and made big ginormous BBQ sammich with the last of the Super Bowl BBQ, drank a couple more and let the Big Chair swallow me up. Woke up around midnight and went to bed.
Saturday, got up and drank coffee, grabbed shower and struck out on errands, including taking the pup to vet for her 6 month heartworm booster. I have never had a dog that was so thrilled to be at the vet and see other dogs...it's almost unnatural. Every other dog in the place is shivering in fear and trying to hide under the chair, meanwhile Tiger is busy trying to separate my arm from its socket in an attempt to go play. Even when they took her back and gave her the shot she comes right back out with a laser focus to play with every dog in the place. Finally get home and start knocking out chores inside and outside, the take the dog on a hike exploring the woods behind the compound for a couple of hours. Mrs. Tig was out running errands until late, Taco Truck was closed when she passed by, so when she got home neither wanted to cook so I got take out from El Molcajete. Got torta de la casa...BEST.DANG.SAMMICH.IN.ROCK.HILL. Drank beers, including the worst beer in the world, a Cave Creek Chili Beer. Settled in Alejandro Escovedo on ACL, but Big Chair swallowed me up again, woke up and went to bed around 12:30.
Sunday, got up and drank coffee. Took pup out to play in the field by the lake. Hung out until Joonyer and his girlfriend cam by to visit for a while, she brought me a couple of six packs of local beers from her trip to Vermont: WIN. Once they left, trip to grocery, came home and took long walk with pup, cooked pork chops and fettuccine alfredo, drank more beers. Cleaned up kitchen while Mrs. Tig graded papers, settled in for Walking/Talking Dead.
Once all of the data had been gathered and sorted, the weekend received 9 Yelp Stars out 10 Yelp Stars, with deductions for having ANOTHER severe itch around my Brownell on Saturday, and the weekend going by way too fast.

Saturday: Wanted to get all of our #### into our new storage building. Took daughter of to gymnastics. Got some shelving at the hardware store. Got home ready to start and couldn't find the #### keys. Broke the lock, went back to the hardware store to get a new one. Put the shelves in. By that time it was already dark. Gave up. Friday: Our pickup group created an NCSU club that allowed us to reserve lit fields on NCSU's campus, proceeded to play ultimate from 5:30 until about 8:30, then out to dinner with group of them. Friend came over and we watched Dr. Strange
Saturday: Woke up, didn't have milk for my coffee, had to venture out. Had league game at 11 that we wound up losing. Then had a chili cook off where my chili got 3rd place. 1st place was basically a curry and 2nd place was buffalo chicken dip, they were loose in their defining of chili. Lots of alcohol and chili were consumed.
Sunday: Holy cow what a beautiful day. Started the morning with a massive chili dump, that was a marker dump, proceeded to shower. Then go play pickup in the beautiful weather. Then mealprepped for the week. Then went to indoor ultimate league in Chapel Hill, went 2-1 on the night, team then ate at Mellow Mushroom, didn't get to bed until close to midnight.
Monday: ugh.

Finally getting back on track for the weight loss.
Feb 13, 2017, 10:05 AM

Motorcycle injury didn't help, still something not right with my left hip that the harder I exercise it starts to get worse, so I'm a little concerned about that.
Starting a lifting routing to help with fat loss, hoping it will also create additional strength to protect my Achilles, still stretching and rolling calves, I think the Achilles injury is getting better, but it's not remotely gone.
I would like to start running again, but can't with my Achilles.

Uneventful

Friday - daughterof- was at a friend's house for a sleep-over, so I got some quality time with sonof-. Otherwise uneventful #marriedtwokids
Saturday - woke up to find wifeof- had been up all night for work (First live weekend of the software she had helped develop and the operators are notoriously bad a calling when #### fails, so she stayed up all night). Still managed to get a 10-miler in before picking up daughterof-. Relatively uneventful rest of the day. Dinner out at Red Robin because fatburgers and a quiet night at home.
Sunday - Church, then packed for a work trip. Flew out to Carlsbad for a couple days training at the company's headquarters. Uneventful flight, had a good nap.
Monday bonus - just got a text from the wife that sonof- is getting sent home because barfing in class. Dodged that bullet. #cheers

Busy and expensive

Friday ate at Farmhouse Tacos in Travelers Rest. Holy #### they're good. Their seared tuna taco was one of the best I've ever had and definitely better than willy tacos. I will be going back soon.
Saturday up early and over to Lady of ST's basketball game. Her girls lost 9 to 4 playing with 4 players against 5 so meh. Then over to rush wilson's to get fitted for my wedding suit. It's going to be nice I think. Then up to Hendersonville to meet parents of Lady of ST for lunch at West First pizza. It was delicious.
Then to the jewelry store we like up there where we finally purchased wedding bands. We got a good "deal" on them, but holy #### bye bye money. From there we went to Sierra Nevada and met back up with Lady of STs fam. Had some brews and wandered around the place and then sat down for some food. Pretzels and pimento beer cheese was excellent as always. The Duck fat fries were tasty and the lamb and bison ribs were also excellent.
Sunday slept in a little and then went to boozy brunch with friends for lady of ST's birthday. We tried out the Ji-Roz place on north main near stone ave. it was tasty but expensive for greek food. Then went and cleaned/organized lady of ST's condo. We have a mountain of wedding presents piled up already and we're still a month or so out. I'm really not sure what we're going to do with all the stuff.

Ok, jackazz, that was never said. I said that the beat was a west coast beat which reminded me of the good ol' 90's rap. Not that he was a rapper, but that the beat in the song was west coast.
You wouldnt understand though, as you teach school in bum fuckt SC, dip your copenhagen by the track, yell at kids running too slow, while sticking your hands up cheerleaders skirts.
