last week that my wife was having to go in for additional tests when her mammogram showed a suspicious "spot" on the one year anniversary of breast cancer surgery and treatment. The second mammogram was done yesterday afternoon, a "3-D" version. The radiologist said it shows for a certainty that the "spot" was just scar tissue from the lumpectomy that was done last year.

We had been trying to emotionally gear ourselves for the news that the cancer was back. That would have almost certainly meant a radical mastectomy and chemotherapy this time around. We feel like an inmate that just got a "Get out of Jail FREE" card.

Thanks to all who posted and prayed for us during this time, prayer works! Even though we may not always get the answer we want, I firmly believe in the Power of Prayer. Now, more than ever. Thank You, Jesus.
