Lot 10 Parking Access

Sep 8, 2023, 8:23 PM

Hey all. I'm doing some late planning for the game tomorrow and am wondering what would be the best route to take to get to lot 10. We just got bumped from our previous spot on Calhoun drive and I'm wondering if coming into Clemson from a different approach would be beneficial. Most weeks we'll be making the drive from Greenville, but tomorrow we'll be coming from Spartanburg. If anyone has any experience or recommendations on the best route, I'd love to hear. Thanks and go tigers!

Same for us...

...bumped from a great spot on Calhoun to Lot 10.

The new median into Lot 10 doesn't appear to allow a left turn from Perimeter road into the lot.

Go to street view on Google maps and the new parking area graphics are updated.

Also here are the required traffic patterns.

Good Luck

Another option. The road from the golf course now goes straight across perimeter. If you take that road, it will take you :
1. Up the big hill towards the shoe boxes
2. To lot 10 via a left turn about 100 yards after you cross perimeter.

That seems like it could be a good option if we come in using 85. From the maps posted earlier, it looks like old stadium road is one way prior to the game which could help keep that traffic moving.

I wonder how one would turn left into Lot 10

(If you were passed Littlejohn and headed Towards Botanical Gardens) unless they open the middle of Lot 10 for entrance?

I think whichever way we try to go will have us coming in on perimeter and making a right into lot 10. For our spot on Calhoun drive, we used to take 123 to 93 and turn at Bowman field. Now I'm wondering if we should take that same route but turn onto 76 from 93 and then hit perimeter or come in via 85 to 76 then stone church/cherry/perimeter.

Possibly

Come down 123 but avoid Clemson exit. Take like issaquenna or earlier exit. Take frontage road to get onto 93. 93 to thorhill village area to perimeter road. Perimeter road to lot 10 making right into lot 10 best options
