Guy was a beast in the shrine bowl. Huge quick step. Really good at rushing the passers-by for a huge guy and moves very well. Would love to have him. If he got in I see him making the 2 deep..

It'd be a great pick-up. Can't believe we haven't already offered. He'll need a RS year but will be a stud after developing.

Solid first step but he stands straight up at the snap. I think he has potential as a long term project. His best bet would be at a mid or lower-tier power 5 team (ie NC State, Tenn, Ky) or an ECU type school. Definitely has the chance to become a solid player and possibly play at the next level.

I disagree if you study his film he is unusally light on his feet and has super quick hands. Guys is big and strong could see him backing up dj reader at NT. He does play a little high but almost all hs lineman do that's what we pay coaches for.

Wake, with interest from Alabama & Charlotte.
Certainly don't need Bama sneaking in here and stealing a kid with potential out of our back yard.
Who knows, kid could have grade or character issues for all we know. Let's hope the coaches have done their homework on him and not let someone steal him out from under their noses if he is of good character and grades are in order. He certainly has potential.

He had grade issues but is now expected to be a qualifier.
Unless other flags appear, we will recruit him if we don't get Wilkins.

Wouldn't touch him. We are beyond the point of recruiting "project" type players. He'd be a nice fit at a small conference D1 school.

He was arguably the best defensive player on the SC shrine bowl and that included huggins. Thank God Clemson does take projects cause vic Beasley, Grady Jarrett , and Deshawn Williams are studs but rated the same as Bryant or worse. Name a elite DL Clemson has landed? Clemson coaches develop players. How's montravious adams doing at auburn? He playing like a 5*? No quite

Well Sapp, Bowers, Goodman, K. Brown were all very highly rated as are some of our guys waiting in the wings (Aiken, Ebo, Yeargin), so that's kind of a bad argument, but yes, Brooks and Hobby do develop very well. Beasley was a fairly highly recruited player, just not as a DE.
