There are some good players in the portal at DE,DL,OL,RB.Positions we could use some help at,are we so far behind this thing due to Dabo's past view of the using it? I've noticed some players have already picked a new school.

Most of the starter quality players already know where they're going. And almost all the others want more playing time and aren't interested in coming here to be a backup.

The way I see it Dabo probably had to create an internal mechanism for incoming transfers that gives them a crash course in the culture. Probably puts the onus on the new players to complete said mechanism within a time frame. Might even have a player board to provide input or thumbs up or down the possible transfer based on what they might know about the person. It probably took him two years to stand up his process and they tried it out with a few lukewarm offers last year but didn’t have any takers. Maybe he tweaks his process based on experience last year and could have a small success or two this year just to see if it’s a realistic approach. Dabo doesn’t take a dump without a plan son.
