Fellow Tigers!

Explain to your friends and family that intersections without lights should be treated as a four way stop. Even the bigger intersections.

So many folks are zooming through these areas, and not looking....obviously that is very dangerous.

Also please be courteous....emotions are high for everyone right now.

Just a few nuggets for thought today!

Yes, I don’t know why every news station, radio station, sheriffs office Facebook page hasn’t been repeating this over and over Finally saw the schp do a post yesterday.

great idea unfortunately most people driving arent bright enough to know what to do at a 4 way stop either.

i slow down and get ready to stop.. then start the decision process

if i see some stopped in 1 of the other directions , i stop and let them go

If i see some 1 coming from another direction , i stop because i dunno if they will see me and stop or if they will just run through the light.


if i don't see any 1 at all in the other directions i just move through the light.

Traffic is really light at 6 am so there isn't a lot of reason to stop at every light.

It's ridiculous. I went to the Clemson Publix after getting back from a conference in ATL yesterday. There was a line of like 20 cars on the ramp at 93 trying to turn right. You'd get about 3 straight cars that would treat it like a stop sign so then the turning cars could start to move. But then you'd get about 6 straight that would blow through the intersection at about 35-40mph. Did you not just see the cars in front of you stop then go? You think that was for their health?

And the weird thing was it seemed to be that if someone was trying to turn left from the ramp to go TO campus, then magically drivers on 93 did what they were supposed to. But when no one was trying to turn left and you just had this long line of cars turning right, then the cars on 93 decided stopping wasn't worth it anymore.

It was everyone leaving campus around 5pm. about 70% of people just didn't want to bother letting people off the ramp.
