Please guys, a lot of you sound like Carolina fans...

Truth is Sammy made a poor choice, don't try to justify it when a lot of you (not saying all) are so quick to condem Spurrier or anyone else for making such comments. Granted a lot of college kids smoke weed, and even more routinely take adderol. But that doesn't mean that it wasn't a poor choice for a college athlete (a big time star not to mention) to make. In no way am I throwing Sammy under the bus though. I have some mutual friends with him and they were very surprised not thinking he even smoked. So to me it seems like he likely was stressed from exams or got a big head from all this attention.
Either way it doesn't really matter because he will be punished and he will accept the punishment like a reasonable person. And then he will likely miss a couple of games and then get back to what he does best. Hopefully though he's learned something out of this, because while this doesn't really change my opinion of him, he has to remember that tons of kids look up to him, same reason why even though I am a college student I choose to not drink under age because I have worked at camps and as a lifeguard and understand that these kids look up to me. I bet that Sammy is learning this right now.
So for clemson fans, you should just take it for what it is, don't try to justify a mistake like a lot of other fans, because you only look silly after denouncing the same thing. What example does this set for your kids or people that look up to you if you simply justify something you have believed to be wrong, and even said to be wrong, just because of an event like this. Sorry for the rant, hope you guys have a good week, Go Tigers, whip up on C of C this weekend
