If anyone still needs a place to stay for a football weekend, I've recently opened up a listing in a quiet downtown neighborhood that's about a 25 minute walk to the stadium. There's availability for Furman, Louisville, Miami, and South Carolina weekends. https://airbnb.com/h/tiger-den

I understand the question. The price is high, but it's certainly consistent with the market for football weekends. If you look at expedia, prices are in the same neighborhood. AirBnb properties are even higher. And there's almost nothing available within walking distance.

That's cheap. I have a longtime friend who rents their house in Clemson on football weekends. "My price" if I wanted was $2000 for the weekend. For anyone else it was more and that was several years ago.

We need a place for 8.

I was looking in Tallahassee for a place and they wanted about this much there too. Apparently need to invest in some property near Clemson to rent out on game day weekends! Some places are getting upwards of $600-700/night!

We finally had to resort to getting a house 10 miles away on the lake for 2 nights. It is still expensive, but at least we have a dock and lake access to bring a boat for some other fun before and after the game festivities.
