PJ Hall Draft status...?

Most insiders after PJ's play in the G League camp are saying he will be invited to the NBA Combine next. There is distinct possibility he could be projected as a 1st round draft pick this summer. It would be good for the program to finally get another 1st round draft pick. Even if that hurts Clemson's NCAAT chances next season, Coach Brownell will be given more time with PJ's personal success if that happens. Sort of similar to KJ McDaniels leaving early
Also, could possibly get involved with former 5 star recruit Jullian Phillips from SC as a late pick up as he had announced he is transferring to the portal. Clemson recruited him a number of years in HS. Anyone of his similar calibar would definitely still keep Clemson's NCAAT chances up high.

That’s confusing. He didn’t get invited to the combine in the original selection of players invited.
I didn’t know they invited more after they first do that.
But you think he could be first round?? If so, he needs to get out of Clemson. With his past injuries, I’d take that chance.

No chance to be drafted. Personally, I hope he gets serious, practice hard, get better and take over Tyson's leadership mantle. Also, I heard he does not even watch BB playoffs, if so that is too bad, as he could learn a lot from a few of them.

There are 79 players invited to the NBA combine. Only one from the g-l will be added to the 78 that are already invited.
There are 60 players drafted in the NBA draft.
I love PJ Hall, but he’s not getting invited to the combine & he’s not getting drafted.
The good news is that he’s coming back to clemson!

if he wanted to get drafted. Davis is technically out of Schollies, but I'd bet my left arm he'd find a way to get it done if PJ did call.
PJ's done his commitment to Brownell and Clemson. There's no reasonable complaining about what he's given the Tigers, and I'd sure rather see him go there than Duke or UofSuC.
Moving to the Heels would've been about playing in a true stretch-4 position that most doubt he can play. He's not as mobile as Brady Manek was, but he's also not Pete Nance. So it would've been interesting. I'd love to see his 3-point shooting % after a year in that system.
People "flagged" my post the last time I said this until the Mods took it down. Clemson fans are brutally self-absorbed, just like all other fans, and really don't give a flying Shyatt about PJ in the long run. Maybe it's time some of them grow up a bit.

The whole point of this draft process was for him to be seen and also get experience against potential draftees. He wants to return to Clemson to spend another year with his teammates and coaches. He also knows that he needs to show scouts some improvements in his game and also prove that he can stay healthy.

family, friends, and teammates as well. He took a chance to go to UNC though and almost won a championship. More importantly, when Garcia left, he became the key cog in a resurrection of a team that was talented, but as last year showed, was missing "something". It didn't get Manek to the NBA, but he's settled in for an Australian team with more upside than if he had stayed at Oklahoma. And I can guarantee that after Pete Nance flamed out in Chapel Hill, scouts are looking at what Brady did in only one year in Chapel Hill with a different view.
It's sweet that you and apparently PJ think it's important for him to play it out under Head Coach Girl Scout Brownies. There will come a day not too far in the near future when PJ will rue that decision. I detest to see people "use" other people, and Brownell's willingness to cajole kids to give him their loyalty is the thing I hate most about him. That always ends up in a net negative to the kid.
Brownell's the Pied Pier, nothing more.

Brownell said weeks ago that Hall was coming back. I questioned then why he would make that statement when the process wasn’t even close to playing out yet.
