Turk actually finished 1st in his qualifier for a korn ferry event. I've looked but can't locate the link. Obviously not this week.
Also, Kyle Cottam shot -7 and Nottingham shot -4 in their qualifier. Different from Turk. But -8 was needed to get into a 4 for 2. Point being, both, but especially Kyle continues hitting the ball good. Hopefully they'll grab a spot soon.

Let's hope Savannah can just have a nice round tomorrow. Then she can have a blast touring the area. Her career, and she is very young. Perhaps she'll love playing in Europe and join Alice and Alex. I'm sure both would take her under their wing so to speak.
Got to thinking skeeta56 to see if you agree. Savannah's game and start is eerily similar to Turk. We know both flashed and both have the ability... just not translated to pros yet.

Turk flashed . . . took a chunk from the Arabs and joined LIV only to get kicked out after one year.
Savannah flashed, earned her Card and turned Pro . . . Then contended early . . . But “crickets” since. She may like where her game is, but it is no where near good enough (right now) to compete week in and week out on the LPGA Tour.
Today’s Card; 9 Pars + 3 Birdies + 5 Bogeys + 1 Triple Bogey . . . is proof enough.
Let’s just hope she finds her consistent game and finds a way to maintain her LPGA Status for another year.
If she doesn’t . . . There is no shame in re-earning your Card through the Epson Tour . . . like Lauren Stephenson and Emma Tally are attempting to do this Season.
BTW - The Epson Tour Purses are as good, if not better than the LET!!!
Other than the Life Experiences and Travel Esthetics of the European Tour, I don’t see how the Average Member affords to play there strictly on the Purses Offered . . . of course their Sponsorships add more than we know.

Lucas stunk it up, comparatively speaking. If the Cut was held today, -2 would be the number . . . and Our TIGER is 3 shots off that pace. We must assume tomorrow’s Cut will approach -4 . . . So Our TIGER must shoot ~ 5 Under to have a chance in his 2nd Round.
Tall Order indeed . . . but doable.
Kudos to MyfavOrange® ‘s Weekly Pick, Tommy Fleetwood, for his -5 Opening Round . . . Currently Good for a T-5th Place!!!

Turk is still putting together a nice round with his “clean card” 4 Under through 14 Holes . . . He even has a 15’ birdie putt on his 15th Hole (Hole #6).
Kyle has also started his day nicely . . . as has Matt Atkins.

Hit refresh and didn't see Carson. I scrolled back up thinking I missed him at -5... no dice, so kept scrolling. Wow, stomach just sank. Now he most likely has to shoot 5 under. I can see the cut going to 6. Jacob,,, some more headscratchers. He's usually one of the best at scrambling but he's struggling with his driver and his putts on gir. I see his university tour partners are crushing it. coody shoots -11, Chris Gotterup had a good round at the open. Time to get going.
