I read the whole thread. One of the posters asked about the possibility of the bama db being guilty of a late hit against Renfrow on the game winning TD. Legacy Zebra said it was a correct no call. I can see that being the case, but he went on to say if the bama player had knocked the ball loose, it should have been called an incompletion. This opinion goes against everything i thought about what a legal completion is. Renfrow had full control of the ball and he had taken 3/4 steps before he was hit. LZebra seems pretty smart, but unless I'm missing something, he's completely wrong on this one.

Really?
You can laud and hail (heil) Trump all you want, but let's keep that far from Tiger football.
Trump is the antithesis of Coach Swinney and the culture and community he has built and continues to lead.
And to quote Dabo, "It's how you win that matters."

What I am alluding to here. Sore losers are sore losers and to me, they deserve to be ridiculed, mocked and ignored when they start that whining BS!
I'm sick of it in sports, at work, in politics and in society as a whole. People need to deal with reality and move on.
Ahhhhh.... I feel much better getting that off my chest.
BTW - my choices in the election lost too (I had one in the nomination battle and then one in the general election), but I didn't whine and moan and pitch a temper tantrum like a 5 year over it. ??

EVERY analyst on ESPN has said both were good plays, no picks, so let the bammers cry in their milk, whiskey, beer or whatever they use to get through the day. They sound like a bunch of democrats.

This is classic Bama strategy to find a way to claim yet another phantom title. We'll still be credited with the title, but in about 15 years, they will add the 2016 NC to their illustrious (if not illusionary) resume.
It must be awesome to be a tide fan!

He mentioned Alabama's sixteen National Championships.
I politely asked, how man of those sixteen are legitimate.
Based on the look on his face, you would have thought I violated his mother but he never did answer the question.

Aside from the opening lines about the "illegal" TDs, the analysis is that Clemson whipped Bama in pretty much every aspect of the game.

Clelin Ferrell's injury was just as huge as Scarborough's. Bryant is good but right side speed and containment are key! No one mentions that, or last year's game without Lakip and Cain plus injuries to Lawson and Alexander!

Yes. If they want to play this game we can. That was a text book tackle by Howard. And the 2 targeting calls were inexcusable after what we have seen called throughout the year in CFB. 2 of their top defensive players would have been lost early.
One these were not picks. Two if you want to play the bad call game go look at the first quarter and you we see a dumpster fire of officiating in Bamas favor.

Clemson converted an astounding 31 third downs in the game. Clemson abused all areas of the Alabama secondary – corners, middle of the field, short-range.

The first you could make an argument but JL sold it so well they will never make that call. The second there is no doubt about it being legal. If any thing it would be defensive as the DB tackled Scott. If he was going to "pick" the DB he never got the chance. I have thought about the last play from a bama perspective and think one way to guarantee OT would be to tackle our receivers across the board and make the refs call the holding assuming you are able to tackle DW. One would think he was going to throw quick either way to ensure a kicking opportunity.
