If we're counting by his system, at least. Michigan had them beat, but gifted them points with turnovers and had a tough call on 4th down in OT go against them. If Michigan State kicks the extra point or converts their attempted 2-point conversion, they've might've lost to an 8 loss team. They also had to go to OT to beat Wisconsin, and were lucky to hold on against 6-loss Northwestern. So maybe they "should" actually have 4-5 losses.

The Big 10 is the fraud. One close win over LSU and a win over a poor Oregon team do not qualify as a basis for the ESPN-love and high rankings.
ESPN thought Mich. State was good last year, too; remember how that turned-out (38-0, Bammer, and the game was worse than the score).

Seems like he's swung back the other way now. I'm not really sure where he's getting this, Clemson "should" have 3-4 losses from, either. Maybe we ought to have 2 losses, but 3-4? I suppose you could argue that Louisville might've scored if Quick had stayed inbounds, but that wasn't some kind of fluky thing like NC State missing the FG. You could argue that FSU might've been able to go ahead if not for the clipping penalty, but it clearly should've been a penalty and they still would've had to score. Where's the 4th possible loss come from?

Let's use simple math. Clemson has 1 loss and in top 4. MICH. Has 2 losses and gone. The real USC has 3 losses and gone. Add this to the mix, Ohio State, if I'm correct, is not even playing for Conference Championship and therefor, should not even be in Top 6. What a joke and don't even care about him. GO TIGERS!!!

I am actually a fan of this guy and listen to his show nearly every week. however as a die hard clemson fan, there are definitely times when he goes out of his way NOT to mention Clemson when talking college football.
There has to be an agenda coming from above him. He actually really knows his stuff when it comes to football, and like others have mentioned, he has given us praise in the past. I think he needs to play to his west coast audience and major markets.

Bama has 2 close games, Washington has 3, and the rest of the top ten all have 4+ close games this year...The ACC was pretty dang good this year, 11 of 14 teams playing at least .500 ball...Clemson's only blemish is to a solid and hot Pitt team on a last second field goal, and it looked like they had control of the game late but committed some errors and had some questionable penalties at the end...Also in Clemson's last game they absolutely Hammered their rival the Gamecocks who have been very competitive in every SEC game they played this year...In ACC vs SEC rival games FSU pounded SEC division champ Florida, Georgia Tech beat Georgia, and Clemson crushed South Carolina...Clemson beat both FSU and Georgia Tech...The only SEC school to win their rival game with the ACC was Kentucky beating Louisville, who Clemson also beat... This guy strikes me as someone who watches a few highlights and forms shaky opinions... Clemson has done alot of good work this season and deserve their ranking...If they continue to maintain good ball security, they are pretty tough out...

This guy- Colin Cowdung- is a fraud. He makes incredibly stupid and insensitive remarks in order to get cheap publicity. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what school this guy graduated from, if he graduated at all?

I am shocked that this is even mentioned on Tigernet? This guy may not have ever played football. He may not have ever even been to a Clemson practice? I would not give him any print or call his name or where he works. We need to get our mind on Virginia Tech.

So he concedes we will beat VPI yet we're still a fraud. I completely disagree with him. I think we're the best team in college football and will win out. I haven't seen one team this year that impresses me more than Clemson does. Alabama is not as good as they were last year. The entire SEC is down this year. Michigan and OSU are not complete teams. We have the most experienced and most dynamic QB in the playoff this year. Yes I said it, we'll beat VPI, handily I might add. Our defense is dominant and outlr offense is matching or surpassing last years numbers. Alabama beat us last year because their staff and players had been there before and we hadn't. This year will be different. MARK IT DOWN!!!
