and explain to me how I can consolidate data across multiple spreadsheets.
For example: I have multiple spreadsheets with rows and rows of data that I don't need.
What I do need is my one row of data and the column headers.
Do I really need to copy and paste all of this?

Call you an idiot, and tell you how to do it as she does it in 15 seconds. She will finish with a long sign and go back to her CMS data with all that var_function= crap in SAS.

Once upon a time in the bustling town of Dataville, there resided an individual known by the curious nickname "FBMooch." FBMooch had gained a reputation for their insatiable appetite for learning and their uncanny ability to untangle even the knottiest of problems. However, there was one puzzle that seemed to leave FBMooch scratching their head: the enigma of consolidating data across multiple spreadsheets.
One bright morning, FBMooch sat before their computer screen, a perplexed frown etched upon their face. They had been tasked with the challenge of consolidating data from an assortment of spreadsheets – a task that seemed as confounding as deciphering ancient hieroglyphics.
"Someone, anyone, enlighten me on the sorcery required to consolidate data from these spreadsheets," FBMooch muttered to themselves, their brow furrowing with consternation.
As fate would have it, a fellow townsfolk named SageSam happened to stroll by, their keen ears catching wind of FBMooch's vexation. SageSam was renowned far and wide for their spreadsheet wizardry, capable of weaving magic through cells and formulas.
"Ah, FBMooch, I perceive you're grappling with a spreadsheet conundrum," SageSam proclaimed with a knowing smile. "Fear not, for the art of data consolidation is within your grasp. Allow me to illuminate the path."
A glimmer of hope sparkled in FBMooch's eyes. "Oh, please, do share! I find myself lost amidst these columns and rows."
With a gentle demeanor, SageSam drew a chair close to FBMooch and began to expound, "Imagine, if you will, a bountiful orchard laden with diverse fruits. Each fruit represents a separate spreadsheet, brimming with unique data. However, your heart desires only the juiciest of fruits – the key data points and column headers."
FBMooch nodded in rapt attention, captivated by the analogy.
"Now, instead of laboring to pluck each individual fruit and rearrange them in a basket, you possess a potent spell known as 'Consolidation,'" SageSam continued, a twinkle in their eye. "This magical spell takes the form of tools such as 'Consolidate' or 'PivotTable,' tools as wondrous as the artifacts of legend."
FBMooch's interest was piqued. "PivotTables, you say? Those are like the hidden scrolls of spreadsheet wisdom."
SageSam chuckled softly. "Indeed! With the incantation of a PivotTable, you can summon forth your desired data, neatly arranging it within a new spreadsheet. It's akin to harvesting the finest fruits and assembling a magnificent feast."
FBMooch's understanding began to crystallize. "So, no more copying and pasting?"
SageSam shook their head. "No tedium of copying, no drudgery of pasting. A mere sequence of clicks, and behold – your consolidated data stands before you. A triumph of efficiency, a victory of intellect."
Over the course of the day, SageSam patiently guided FBMooch through the process of employing PivotTables to consolidate data across multiple spreadsheets. Step by step, FBMooch's bewilderment transformed into a sense of mastery and accomplishment.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, FBMooch leaned back in their chair, surveying the elegantly consolidated spreadsheet on their screen. "I can hardly fathom how clueless I once was about this. It's not the labyrinth I imagined."
SageSam smiled warmly. "We all stumble upon puzzles that confound us. What matters is the eagerness to learn and adapt. Now, armed with this newfound knowledge, you can illuminate the path for others who tread the same trail."
From that day onward, FBMooch became celebrated as the "Data Dynamo" in Dataville. Their journey from bewilderment to enlightenment inspired many to embrace the art of data consolidation, proving that challenges are conquerable with guidance and determination. And so, the town learned that seeking wisdom from others was a sign of strength, and sometimes, the solutions to complex riddles are simpler than they seem.
