According to the FBI in 2019 there were about 14000 homicides in the United States. In only 346 of those was a rifle the weapon of choice. There were about 1400 where a knife was used and about that same number of other weapons like hammers or rocks or baseball bats. There were 600 cases of only the hands and feet being used. Handguns accounted for about half the total. The AR makes the news and making the news just makes the matter worse but rifles are seldom used in homicides.

Guns don't kill...ACLU should be declared a terrorist organization...went to jury duty last week...sentencing phase for convicted murderer, shot ex wife in the face 7 times with child sleeping next to her...no death penalty...life is out in 25...already on probation for prior felonies...would not give prospective jurors info on prior convictions or drug use! Well, generally when the first attack takes place the people close to the attacker go into flight mode. The attacker usually targets weaker or unsuspecting targets so he/she can do the most damage. A person with reasonable strength could hit 4 or 5 people with the claw end of a hammer and kill that many rather quickly provided there isn't someone willing to take the risk of tackling the perp!
In my younger wilder days, I was in a small town pub when a fight broke out, strange huh! One of the fighters pulled a knife and proceeded to cut three people. He at that point did not care who he hurt, he was drunk, pissed off and for lack of a better word bat-shyt crazy!

Geez people, an Ar-15 is not an assault rifle! AK's and M-16's are assault rifles, AR's are basically a varmint gun. My HMR-17 is as much of an assault rifle as my AR is, I assault coyotes, raccoons, and possums with them.

First of all, an AR-15 is NOT an Assault Rifle, that would be the M-16 with which I am considered an expert rifleman by the United States Marine Corps. I promise you, when the SHTF you are going to want to stand behind me and the millions like me to protect your whiny candy ###. The 2nd Amendment protects us from a Tyrannical Government that would strip us of all our rights. I've got more personal protection devices than I have fingers and toes. I was trained to kill by the US Gov. but yet I haven't and neither has any of my PPD's! Imagine that. I have a conscious, it never has crossed my mind to grab a gun and hurt someone else, unless they threatened my family or myself. It is my right to own my guns as long as I follow the law, and there is the problem with most who want to ban guns, they want total confiscation for the law abiding while they have no answer to get guns from criminals.

i just now texted my son who is living in Missouri. i asked him if he went to the super bowl celebration. he said he went and heard the shots as they were leaving. What has become of this country?
You cant celebrate your team without shooting somebody!

The people in the world that we live in today, a big percentage of them have something that went terrible wrong in their brain. All of us that are in our later years of life just didn't want to kill or shoot up everything that we didn't like or wasn't in favor of. We just lived our life knowing right from wrong, even if we decided the wrong thing to do it was never about hurting or killing innocent that had never done a thing against us.
I believe that the only thing that should change the way people react toward the innocent public, is to make the punishment fit the crime with no such thing as a life sentence for the criminals that chose to kill people in a mass shooting. I mean if there is 100% proof that the person arrested for the shooting is actually the guilty person, kill them within a week of the day they committed the crime. Nothing will completely stop it, but the eye for an eye rule will surely stop a lot of those acts against the innocent society that is only standing around and enjoying themselves!!!!

mizzu is a very dangerous state, kansas city and st louis are always high up on the most dangerous place per capita, with st louis often being number 1. most likely it was some gangs going after each other, and yes young kids are involved in these gangs.
people on the mainstream news feel "smart" parroting things like we have to have gun law reform make it harder for the wrong people to get guns. i totally disagree, trash and criminals will always have weapons and guns.......(and trust me government knows this) it's just a slow trickle way to disarm lawful citizens cut by cut.

I'm not against anyone carrying a gun. I own several and have a CWP. I don't carry though because it's annoying and the odds of me needing it are slim to none.
I just think it's funny that anyone who mentions any sort of gun control is labeled a liberal snowflake communist nutcase immediately.
