Why is our pass coverage so bad, receivers have a 3 to 4 yard cushion to make the catch ?

It's called...dropping your guys into coverage and jewing everuthing in front. With a solid OL, which ND obviously has, offenses can get VERY successful when the defense is in that prevent scheme...what you should be asking about is the poor tackling and technique, which will get cleaned up in practice. Relax dude

The lb are slower than last yr and better in run support. They have been beaten some this yr (especially by rb's).

We blitzed a lot (LBs) in the 4th quarter and they did not get to the ND quarterback. That left the middle of the field wide open.

Have you only watched the 4th quarter of the ND game and none of the other games? Our pass defense has been very solid, just a few blown assignments and a few missed tackles that made them successful in that quarter. I cant think of any reason anyone would have to ask a question like that.
