for the last time I hope. I'm shaved taint to tummy. I swear, I've cleared land with a chainsaw and not worked that hard. My cardiologist is going to be able to walk through what use to have been a rain forest of ancient growth like it's the sidewalk on Broadway.

The last time that joker wanted to take a look I came away with a stint/stent (whatever, you know) and I was like:

Anyway, I'm hoping for an encore performance and he can do a valve job and put new stem seals without having to shave the head or do anymore than the least intrusive work on the old oil pump. Either way I'm a need more lubrication in the engine but going through the transmission next to the drive shaft yoke seems like impossible to me.

It worked so good the last time I'm confident this is going to be more than just looking around. I love it, the complimentary Fentynal in the plush waiting room makes the waiting a ton of fun, it must be like waiting on an oil change at the RR or Bently dealership.

I'd ask for prayers but I'm prayed up, I've been prayed up for a while being left sitting for practically two months. Now I got this all worked out. If I wake up I can live with how it turns out. I'll be happy however it turns out.

If I don't, I'll be even happier cause this old worn out body won't be my problem anymore.

I had a TAVR on 12/21 ... and I'm still alive! Worst part was that my insurance req'd me to stay overnight in the event of any complications, and I was never so grateful to return home to my bed so I could sleep. Ya' just can't sleep in a hospital. The doc conducted a heart cath a few days prior and discovered that (after 75 years) my arteries were clear, so they could insert the valve through the groin. Had I known that years ago, I would have eaten a lot more greasy, fat-laden foods ... just kidding.

The only problem is that insertion through the groin causes trauma, in the form of severe swelling and bruising of ... uh ... certain body parts in that area. Ice pack on ... ice pack off!

Other than that, all seems pretty much on the mend.

This surgery made for a nice, quiet Christmas. Hope y'all had the same.
