The kid had offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Minnesota, N.C. State, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, the Chickens, and Clemson among many others.

His film looks pretty good, he might be an incredible RB at the next level too but he’ll have to learn to block and catch the football well too!

Nah, I don't think so. It was just a couple weeks. I'd honestly like to think he hasn't taken official visits anywhere according to 247. So imo, he just made a snap decision, talked to fam and friends who probably advised him (like Dabo encourages all our recruits) to do your homework and be sure you check all the boxes.
Not disagreeing with you that he'll receive better offers but I'm not seeing it in this case. That said, we'll probably know if he commits somewhere else really quick.
Wondering if cj is/will still recruit him? What's your thoughts.

Making one & 1st commitment mistake is human for a growing kid who just happens to be able to tot a pumpkin..
And see where his mind is going now since we want a player who wants solidify, family, possibilities for achieving success now and ~> later in life.

I've never seen NIL spelled Lord. I suspect this is part of the NIL auction and the bidding window will stay open until the portal closes. Rutgers came in with the highest early bid and now is like the girl jilted the week before prom because he got a better offer. I suspect one of the other teams missed out on a target RB that freed up some NIL money used to up there bid. Reminder to get those bids in before the Portal is going, going, gone!

Might be jaded but this has the "NIL promise didn't materialize" stench to it. If so, hard pass
There are a couple of legislative bills out there which would require a kid be on campus (enrolled) for 90 days before a NIL can be signed. I am sure it will face its challenges, primarily by those who want to keep pay-for-play alive, but I like the idea
