Based on UNC being #1 that would put USC at #16 and us at #17 overall - so did that UNC loss cost us to be the host and USC having to come to Clemson?

If VT was the last spot for regional they would have been matched up with UNC - or at least Vanderbilt at #2 to maybe try to stay away from ACC vs ACC in super regional if the #1s win the regionals - but I don't think they care too much about conference opponents facing in the supers.
