is flawed because we refuse to entertain the portal.
For example, we miss on our on all of our RB top targets for 2022, and our answer is to sign Keith Adams Jr. We miss out on all our RB recruiting targets for 2023, and we decide to offer Jamarius Haynes.
Neither of these RBs is in the top 100 RB recruits in the country.
Now we have no scholarships for the portal, according to Dabo.
I guess Spiller is going to develop these guys into future pro-running backs.
Don't even get me started on WR recruiting....

That was the first game of the season. If we were to play them mid or later in the season we would been mudholed.

If Florida State can be number 1 in the transfer portal then we should be able to at the very least pull a solid wide receiver from there.

You are not going to get a top running back out the portal this year with Shipley and Mafah on the roster. Wide receiver is a different story.

early signing day Dec 15th. Clemson finds out who they have and who they don't.
top WR's in portal by 247 ratings
Lovett . enters portal Dec 5 .. commits to UGA Dec 22
Thomas hits portal Dec 5 ... commits UGA Dec 22nd
Singer Dec 5th... Dec 19
Cepahs Dec 5 - projected to Penn state Dec 14th
Ivins Dec 12 - Dec 18th
The top guys are NOT in the portal for long and they seem to make their decisions pretty quick. I gotta believe their portal recruiting tactics involve
1) there is some "contact/discussion " going on prior to these decisions which is against the rules.
2) These programs are more than willing to jump on a high portal prospect despite a full roster fully willing to just boot a kid to make room.
3)They are more than willing to pull an offer from a kid they are recruiting at anytime to make room for a top portal kid
4) They purposely don't recruit full classes. HOPING. they will fill needs in the portal
5) Soon as they hit the portal they get a call from some NIL guys offering big pay checks.
I can tell you with some confidence dabo will NOT ever do conform to the "by any means necessary" recruiting rules 1-2.3 of those.
He may be willing to take a chance and roll on #4

Thornton entered the portal on December 5. We never extended an offer. Tennessee recruiting him right after the new year. He committed on Friday. I don't want to hear it.

We want to hire coordinators based on prior experience/success, but we aren’t to consider a head coach’s prior experience/success?

We have 88 on scholarship now....we can't get any in portal unless several out current
players leave....sounds solid to me even with the transfer portal and NIL..
So are you wanting players to leave?
