Yes he does, and he will show them that he has done some good things, and Dabo and Clemson will show them better than he can stand there and tell them that Clemson is on it's way back to the very top, and it's not like Clemson has fell completely off the mountain, it just stumbled and fell a couple of spots. Just bc they have been talking out their A$$ holes, it doesn't mean that what they say is the truth bc it isn't, and if it was don't any of you think that we would've had more than just one season below 10 wins. IMO just one 9 win season doesn't make Dabo or Clemson into losers bc a 9 win season is a better season than what most of the teams had that they put ahead Clemson. Fck those A$$ and it doesn't matter what they say as long as Dabo and Clemson proves them wrong.
Now if Dabo would have failed to see that he made a few bad hires and never made any attempt to correct those miss hires, then there may have been some truth to what they have been saying, but that's not the case, the truth is with our recruiting and the new coaching hires will be the dog that bites those talking heads square in their A$$ while Tiger nation will be seen laughing at their dumb A$$ES!!!
Go Dabo, Go Luke, Go Riley, Go Tiger nation, and Go Tigers!!!!!

Well, it's not up to Dabo. It's up to Riley and Cade. Dabo didn't throw the picks, miss wide-open recievers, fumble in crucial situations, or looked like a rabid squirrel under pressure. This season has and always will be about Cade Klubnick and his improvement period! Dabo can motivate, but cannot play. No Cade improvement and 9-3 will be a blessing.

This. If Cade hasn’t improved tremendously we’re lucky to go 9 wins.

I wonder how long they will keep talking about our amazing run in the 2010s, and using that as a counter to our decline since?

I'm not jumping ship but I'm beginning to see your point. I'm 100% a Dabo man but it is the portal that has created the parity in our conference. We need to use it to a degree but it's a catch 22 with our philosophy. Maybe our philosophy has become a little outdated with the way college sports are operated.

Zee I think that what pizzes all those talking heads off the most, and it's that Dabo refuses to allow those on the outside of Clemson try to tell him what and how he should be doing to be competitive. But Dabo knows that they are completely wrong bc he has proven since his first day on the job as Clemson's head football coach that he can win at the highest level by developing HS recruits the same way that he did when he beat what was said to the best Bama team in their history.
I feel that if Dabo actually saw a situation where he couldn't win without using the transfer portal, he would be digging them up out of the portal the same as some coaches are doing to try and build what they believe could be a winning team, but Dabo has proven many time that he can build a winning team the same way he has done it in the past by recruiting the best HS talent he can recruit, and by doing that way he sees that he can still win at the highest level without yet having to out what limited funds that Clemson has on players out of the portal when he is getting an equal value from HS recruiting bc everybody knows that most of the best portal guys are in the portal chasing after as much money as they can possibly get.
If most of the portal talent was so talented that championship teams could be built by anybody that uses the portal, picking the best 12 teams for the playoffs would be all but impossible for the playoff committee to pick the 12 best playoff teams, and those teams would come from the schools that had more NIL money than the ones that wasn't chosen for the playoffs...
That facts are that the best players that are in the portal are the ones that actually went in the portal to be paid as much money possible, but the majority of the portal guys are players that wasn't seeing the field as much as they thought they should be playing and that was bc they were behind guys that were noticeable better than that guy that dove into the portal only to get more playing time and every team in college FB already has those types of players on their team that don't have to pay, and their 2nd string players that are getting NIL money, they are only getting the bare minimum. The transfer portal is overloaded with players for a reason, and those reasons are most of them weren't good enough to be paid or good enough to be one of those 1st or 2nd string guys that are becoming worthy of NIL money.
With Clemson's limited resources for NIL money, why would Dabo want use Clemson's limited NIL money to bring in one or two of the better portals guy looking for more NIL money when he is bringing in guys like those right out of HS and coaching them up and paying them little or nothing. The very best portal will be getting big NIL money from the schools that have unlimited NIL money, and Clemson just can't provide that kind of money for a portal player. I agree the portal could provide advantages for schools with the resources to bring a lot of NIL money, or they have a lot of wealthy boosters giving to a school's NIL fund. But Dabo has his way to bring some top players to Clemson without a lot of wealthy boosters and without major resources to bring in a lot of NIL money, and if he can win at a high level by doing things his way, why should we care if's he's not using the portal when Clemson isn't one of those schools with unlimited NIL donors that it takes to purchase the very best portal talent. And if Dabo and Clemson can't afford to purchase the best portal talent, I'm OK with him not using at all when we can't afford the best portal talent when he's getting what Clemson needs from recruiting HS talent and paying them very little or nothing until they prove themselves after being developed...

It’s the documented, proven decline in our football program which is going on five years now.
The data are there. Burying your head in the sand or criticizing another Clemson coach/program doesn’t make it any less true.

As if it wasn't a near Act of God for us to win two national titles in the first place.
Given our history and resources relative to other proven powers (Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, Oklahoma) it is almost unfathomable the run Dabo took us on.
The only perceived "decline" is relative to the standards HE HIMSELF set.
Our success from 2020-2023 from ANY other coach would have garnered immense support from our fanbase. Unfortunately Dabo is a victim of his own success.
No fan in their right mind honestly thought it was sustainable. Yet, we are still winning the conference and stringing together 10-win seasons and bowl victories during a "proven decline." Judge - you are unknowingly proving everyone's point.

What I do think most people expect is a coach who is among the highest paid in the country, and a group of coordinators and assistants who are among the highest paid in the country, to have our team playing at an elite level. That means doing all they can within every legal channel to assemble the best and most talented group of players possible, coach them and develop them well, and have them win at the highest level while representing the program with class and excellence on and off the field.
If that isn’t the standard, then why are we paying the coaches so much? Why have we spent hundreds of millions of dollars on facilities? Why do we provide the coaches and players with the best of everything? If we are fine bragging about our high level success years ago, but only winning 9-10 games a year these days, then by all means let’s cut the football budget to one that better reflects the current product on the field.
For Dabo to continue to dig his heels in and act like a petulant child in his refusal to use the transfer portal and NIL in order to achieve the above, it is naturally going to rub people the wrong way, especially given what he is paid and especially since his way isn’t working.
The longer we continue to underachieve, the less cute his catch phrases become and the less mileage he will continue to get from his success last decade. Dabo has a long leash, but at some point people are going to expect him to earn his paycheck in this current era of college football.

Until now, it was illegal for Dabo to use the NIL to recruit!!!!!! And as to the legal use of NIL, we already are and have used it at a high level, but not without donations!!! What do you want, to use it like SEC programs, illegally? What you said was nonsense.

Dabo made a mistake that he has been correcting, and I personally believe he will get us at the top of the mountain again, and hopefully when he gets us there, there will be some kind of control over the way that the NIL is being handled, and some tougher rules on the transfer portal. Right now the portal is only useful for the rich schools with a lot of NIL providers and rich boosters donating a lot of NIL money...

Disagree with 5 year decline… it has been a one year decline from 11-3 record in 2022 to a 9-4 record in 2023. I think an 11-3 record, an ACC championship and a birth in the Orange Bowl is strong.

It's all about the money. For some reason, they believe that the Turkey Hogie Sandwiches are going to stop Clemson from coaching and developing real talent that is dedicated and loyal to Clemson. The only thing that Dabo has to do, is beat those teams that are loaded with portal players. The schools that will have unlimited NIL money, those will be the hardest teams to beat bc they bought the very best players that the portal had to offer, but the only thing that will prove is that it took those teams with unlimited NIL money to compete with Clemson, and if they beat Clemson, it proves they beat us with a pro like team that has been well paid, but we won't easy to beat and we only had the bare minimum of NIL money to offer our players!!!
One thing those schools with unlimited NIL better be glad of, and that's I'm not a billion air bc if I was, we would buy the best players just like they do!!!

If I read this post right it says "bold prediction" for the ACC. Meaning less than likely. I didn't read the article so I may be wrong just going off Tigernets description of it. Which this is why this part of the off-season is so annoying. I know people don't believe in development today they'd rather go to the portal and get an unknown but use to college football was a developmental sport. Meaning guys usually get better from year to year and I don't know about y'all but I like the talent on this team. I don't even know why Judge still comments bc he's nothing more than a Coot in my eyes and no better than one either.
