Our home record the last 75 games is 72-3. The 3 loses are Pitt 2016, usuc 2022, and FSlose 2023. That is dang impressive. GO TIGERS!!!

How did we lose to Pitt again??? Was told last night that BV never had to wait until halftime to make adjustments to his defense that he was the most perfect of perfect DCs to ever coach

I don’t care how good of a coach you are or how good of players you have you’ll ALWAYS have bad games here and there. It happens. I do believe our dline isn’t as good as it use to be but we’re still a stout defense. Anyways GO TIGERS!!!

Oh I get that my comment was aimed toward the people on here last night acting like BVs defenses never played bad and he never struggled with adjustments. They ran the shovel pass down our throats the entire night

They had James Conner and Nathan Peterman. I know some may say who, but these guys have have 7+ year years in the NFL. They had a lot of guys that went to the nfl that year. They also had a bunch of really good coordinators that went on to coach in the NFL. Clemson also had like 4 turn overs and still almost won the game and put up like 40 points. I think Pitt had zero turn overs and Peterman threw like 5 touchdowns. They had 3 touch downs on shovel passes alone. That was pretty much the last time the shuttle pass ever worked on Clemson. Venables had our guys probably running again the shuttle play in their sleep for next 3 years.

Watson threw for over 500. Had like 3 interceptions as well. Had no run game that day. Correct, that Shuttle play we had no answer for. With all that still should have won

That shovel pass to the TE got us that game.... took BV a second to adjust to it. Hats off to them b/c that play was the perfect call against our amazing pressure defense. DW threw a pick in the red zone that was returned 70 yards and they kicked a game-winning field goal with 6 seconds left.
We beat ourselves that game, but Pitt was loaded with playmakers, they played well, and earned the victory.

those 3 losses stick in my crawl because each of them were very winnable.
Had the lead or tied late in each of those games, but it works both ways since I am sure Clemson won a few games such as Syracuse where Clemson pulled out a gutsy win.
Great stat for sure, very close to 75-0 which I believe is pretty solid!!
