Our defense is improving

Albeit VERY slowly. I noticed on the drive with the safety this Saturday the Valley got loud really for the first time this year. I think our players can feed off of that at home. The more reason they give us to yell loudly, the louder we will yell.
The LB's and D-line are getting better faster than the DB's, but everyone is getting better. If this pace of improvement keeps up, by the USCjr game we should be able to hold them to under 30, and that will give us a chance. I don't think even our offense can score more than 30 against the coots, but on a good day I think we can get right around 30. If we can hold them to 28 points or less, we will have a good chance to beat them.

Bad angles and horrible tackles. Just like we put in Peters and he surprised us at CB we need to try a back up at SS. Blanks should be okay at FS next year.
Also, if we can drop 37on FSU we can most assuredly drop 30+ on SC, especially at home.

a better D than FSU. FSU may have more talent on paper, but the coots are better coached on that side of the ball.
They were the toughest defense we played last year, and they will be the toughest this year.

If we look half as good against USC's defense as we did against FSU in the first half we will put points on the board. Florida State is a great defense that Tajh and the offense moved down the field with no problems. They still have a great defense but their offense should have scored more than 16 points on an NC State team. USC is no joke, if you can't admit they have talent you're delusional. I think there's some little holes that we can take advantage of but if we don't we could be down 30 in a heartbeat.

FSU got away with press coverage on our WR in the second half. SC doesn't have the talent to do that and if they try, well let's just say I hope they try
