jurisdiction over a practice that involves nfl teams...but someone does something on their free time and the nfl has jurisdiction over them? maybe watson should have done his massage room hi-jinks at a joint nfl practices then.

I think the big lesson here is don't embarrass your employer or put them in an uncomfortable situation or there will be repercussions both to send you a message and to send others a message to others for the future.

I think the NFL has more tolerance for fights in practice than anything off the field.

The bigger lesson is don’t embarrass yourself or sully your reputation. If you do that you don’t need to worry about your employer

Agreed. I think some young people don’t get that what they think is ok or done on their private time only concerns them. We’re all most employed at will or if we own a business subject to others choosing to do business with us or not.

reach private settlement with the families of the 2 guys that died in the Atlanta fight. Get a minor NFL fine, 0 game suspension and promise to behave for 1 year, NFL Hall of Fame, and NFL poster child.
