I read somewhere that the fines collected will go to help certain students to afford them a scholarship. If that is correct, that would be for a good cause!!!

Opposition will take 5-10 minutes to get off field. The tradition is basically ending with this. It will take a legion of security personnel to hold cones and ropes to keep people off the field. With their lime green vests it’s gonna look horrible. I’m sure it will also be violated a time or two and we will have fines to pay. 50+ years of tradition not going away easy. But a valuable piece of Clemson is leaving us unnecessarily. Then again it has all been turned upside down with NIL and the mighty dollar and TV. Gone are the days when most players were happy to get a scholarship and a chance to become a Clemson man. I am nearing the end of my ability and willingness to continue to pay more and more each year to support the trend that is happening right before our eyes.

Right now it's all about "me, me, me". Plus, there're several idiots out there that could do any number of things (I choose not to expound).
Giving the opposing team enough time to get off the field is not doing away of 50+ years of tradition.
BUT, if Clemson moves to the SEC (or any other conference - as many fans want), the Gathering at The Paw will be gone, so we better start adjusting now.

The students have no intention of following rules. Remember the attempt to delay storming a few years ago? Students started rushing even faster in attempt to be first to 50.
Clemson will go bankrupt with this policy. Screw the ACC

I have a lot of faith in our students. I think they'll recognize the change and abstain from rushing the field. I don't see this as a big issue.

It shouldn't be an issue, but it will be. But, if it's the students violating the new policy, just stop giving those students free tickets to all games for the season, and if it's the adults breaking policy, just band them from all home games for the season. It will get people's attention sooner rather than later...

If they want to make absolutely sure that our fans stay off the field until the opposing team leaves the field, I think that a 6 ft fence be put around the entire field right behind our player's bench with several double gates to be opened once the opposing team has been escorted of the field...

Just put an electric fence around the field and turn the electricity off after 6 mins. Have it glowing red for 6 mins. That is more than enough time for players to run off field.
Or, have cameras all around field, filming the entire field. Have all ticket holders to submit current DL TO BE SCANNED AT ENTRY GATE OR GOVT ISSUED id with name, ADDRESS, DOB ETC AND GET FACIAL RECOGNITION SOFTWARE AND SCAN FACES OF THOSE ENTERING FIELD TOO SOON, FINE THEM THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND BAN THEM from EVER STEPPING FOOT ON CAMPUS FOR THE NEXT 60 YEARS.
PROBLEM SOLVED.

Police Dogs! They sure stopped us students from storming the field in 1982 at the Orange Bowl! I still have nightmares from seeing those German Shepherds just hoping that we would jump the fence and storm the field in Miami. We retreated and took our partying outside! LOL!!!
