I am a student and have been a Clemson fan my whole life. I did not go to the game Saturday. I went to the baseball game in Greenville because I wanted to experience the atmosphere of the rivalry at Fluor. There should have been better planning so people could possibly see both games. However, that is the first home ACC basketball game I have missed this year. I even came to see us play UNC while we were on Christmas break. I will say that I support the basketball team more than most of the students. More students will come if we were winning more. This is not a knock on Coach BB, I am a fan of him. The average Clemson's students perspective of the basketball team is that we are not good and there is no point in going to the games so like I said win and they will come.

Personally, I would go every chance I get, and I did go when I was a student as often as I could.

However, I don't expect as many people to go watch a struggling team. That's just the normal reaction from any many fans, especially the casual fans.

Yes, win, and they will come.

We were awful, but what else do freshman have to do? It was not hard to get front row seats on the floor.

from 1962-1966 (december) never missed a home football, basketball or baseball game

To be honest I probably went to 10 BB games while attending. I think it was the Shyatt years
