No, it's because that would be absolutely awful.
Please define "trump extremist", and then explain who the trump extremists are and what makes them trump extremists.
Thanks.

As I said earlier, I could maybe entertain Nikki. I have a lot of issues with her but I also recognize she exhibited some good leadership in SC.

...and any which way we would wind up with a capable president.
Be fine with any of those guys 'cause honestly they're not that much different. If Buttigieg was slightly less gay he'd be running as a centrist or even center-right candidate because that's where his political instincts are.
I have personally voted for all three in either primaries or elections.
Do you think Buttigieg - who served in Afghanistan - would have gotten pantsed by the Taliban like Biden did? No way, no how. That dude does not miss much.
Do you think Romney would have? Or Kasich? I find it unlikely. Those guys always have competence around them. Amazing what a lost art the simple act of being competent is in these polarized times where being the biggest idiot and often the most controversial and destructive is often a bonus.
Get us back to stolid, competent, and boring, please. That's what Biden promised and couldn't deliver, and what so many of us desperately crave.
And I will not vote for Kamala Harris. Ever. But I seriously doubt she can carry a primary, either, whether she was VP or not. She's a snake, she's toxic, and people do not like or trust her. Justifiably.
I don't think she's president unless it's by veep elevation because Biden couldn't finish a term. I don't see her ever winning an election and the Dems would be stupid to run her. The Dems have been stupid more than a bit, though.

there is no political solution.
I have no faith in anyone in either major party. We tried the Ultimate Outsider in DJT and look what that got us.
We need grassroots common sense and unity in our communities, not division at the state and federal level.

DJT also got you vaccines, and COVID is controlled now? How? By bringing it across the Mexican border and bussing it into all of the lower 48? That's controlled? The only ones armed at the Capitol riot were the police. Anymore bs you want me to dispel for you?

I'm with APM here. We vote for whoever tells us what we like to hear. No one wants to vote for someone who says "We're BROKE". So you get the chart. Then when someone does something we want to hear, like we're leaving Afghanistan, well, they are attacked, but those who voted for the prior President, from the other party, who said the exact same thing and never DID anything, attack the guy who did, because he didn't do it right? What's the right way to retreat? Just like stopping illegal immigration. Everyone likes to hear that, but I promise you if it were ever actually accomplished, our economy would collapse. Or promises to cut spending? Who wants that? The taxpayers want tax cuts, the dems want more entitlements, so debt never decreases, either way. What's the INCOME tax bracket that fixes our debt? There is none. What's the capital gains tax bracket that would fix it? There is none. There is no tax fix. There is no tax cut that could boost GDP to levels to pay down debt either. Again, no one wants the taxes, or a cut to their subsidies, or handouts. Sp we just spend. And our trade deficit? Everyone says it's bad. But end it, and we crash. Our present greatest geopolitical enemy is one of our largest trading partners.
So we vote for our flavor of sunshine pumper, and no one actually LEADS.
And before anyone dismisses this, here's what I would do if President. The MOST important thing I could do for the country, to fix our problems, would be to beg, plead, grovel, write a book, hold a press conference, or a dozen, promoting an Article V convention of the states. Two amendments, term limits in Congress and a phased in balanced budget amendment. NOTHING more. And even then I expect my biggest job would be to keep the politicians on topic. I'd use Twitter relentlessly promoting this.

"The Business man" was really bad at handling the nations finances. A complete and total failure for the man who was suppose to fix this. And notice how MAGA acts like this didn't happen. KI always leaves this out of his list of Trump accomplishments.

On the Republican side, I'd like to see DeSantis/Crenshaw.

I would also very much like to see Rand Paul and Nikki Haley run. All four of these bring something substantial to the table in my opinion, although I don't see Crenshaw being the Presidential candidate (nor Rand Paul as the VP candidate). I just looked up a list of "potential candidates" on Wikipedia...not sure where they got this list but a lot of laughers (at least from my perspective)...Marjorie Taylor Greene and Donald Trump Jr...no please no. Rick Scott and Larry Hogan? If they raise $1MM I'll be shocked. Chris Christie is some old tread but darned if the guy can't crush it in a debate...he's sharp...lots of baggage. Same with Ted Cruz...I think he's sharp but huge baggage at this point.
On the Democrat side, I really don't know. They have no one prominent that I would ever want to be in power...maybe Tulsi Gabbard?

Andrew Yang. He always seems to cut himself one-sentence short of saying that we need to put an end to the federal reserve and start looking at money a little bit differently. Resources, labor capacity, and innovation should drive the economy, and not be limited by the money supply or debt that has been artificially constructed.
