Another item for relief or entanglement is that Disney keeps floating that ESPN is for sale. Technically, NBC or Fox could pick up any media rights they have by acquiring ESPN. Same for any other network like CBS or Turner but I can't remember which networks are owned by the other any more. I got tired of keeping up.
The longer Disney just holds ESPN, the worse the value is b/c they are going to lose the ability to bid on any upcoming rights if they are as strapped for cash as the rumor says. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them swooped in and bought ESPN for a discount just to pick up the media rights.

And FSU/Georgia Tech to the SEC.
I have no official source or particular supporting documentation for this. Only family members who give a lot of money to Clemson and claim to know stuff others don't know.
They say the B10 because they (B10) wants that NC and Virginia regional connection and the academic prestige of UNC is a huge bonus. And Clemson fits both from the athletics and academic standpoint, too.
So, VaTetch, UVA, UNC, DUKE, NC State, Clemson all to B10. Which locks B10 in at 20 teams.
Then the B10 goes off and works out a new streaming rights deal that's worth billions, not hundreds of millions, given the massive audience.
Eh. It's all a huge guess.

I also read somewhere that Clemson's preference is with going to the SEC over the Big bc of the rivals that we have are in the SEC, and none in the Big!!!

I'm all for ESPN losing CFP broadcasting right to Fox. Not sure I want to play in the BIG....but it would be better than getting permanently stuck in the ACC.
