......a piece of your helmet breaks off leaving a hole in it. The helmet belonged to Patrick Mahomes. That helmet could definitely be worth some money one day.

That whole situation was odd. I'm not familiar with NFL rules like this, but I always thought if you lose your helmet you had to come out a play

What's odd is the refs missed it in the first place....much like the OL holding by KC. Prolly didn't want to hear even MORE whining from KC. LOL

That’s college only. The only rule is for when a players helmet comes off they must stop play immediately

NBC rules analyst Terry McAuley said they should have been in order for Mahomes to change his helmet and remain in the game without missing a play.
