Get Into The SEC-Or Be 2nd Rate

If we ever hope to have a chance at another national championship in football, we have to get into the SEC. The SEC is now dominating college football and is doing well in the other major sports as well.
The SEC currently has 14 teams, with growth to no more than 16 teams probably in the future. We have to be one of the two teams to be invited in. We have to do what ever it takes to get into the SEC, including adding stadium capacity, whatever it takes!!
Has anyone else noticed how most of the talented football recruits want to play in the SEC? Jenkins and Robinson broke their commitments to go to SEC teams. And Nkemdiche has a short list of two teams-both of which are in the SEC.
If we don't, I fear that our football team will be marginalized and we will have to suffer the continual humiliation of losing to those idiots in Columbia.

able to beat Bama was overrated. That same Georgia team blasted Florida, who blasted SC who blasted Georgia and barely lost to LSU. But they're all overrated... Florida also beat aTm, who BEAT Bama. Yes. They're ALL overrated and not playing competitively with each other. there were 6 10 win or better teams in the SEC. SIX. Those teams had a combined 9 losses (1 for Bama, 1 for Florida, 1 for Georgia, 2 for LSU, 2 for aTm, and 2 for SC).
9 losses among 6 teams. That's 1.5 losses per team. And of those 9 losses, NONE came from any team outside those 6 teams. Hard to call that overrated.

The reason they had no losses outside of those teams is because they play only SEC teams so they can beat up each other and not drop in the polls. Yeah they look awesome playing other SEC teams. Whether you believe it or not there is no way they have that many good teams in the top 10. Sorry.

in another poll; and 7 in the Top 18 in yet another. All these different polls are wrong, and you are right? You are letting your hatred for the SEC color your judgment. By the way, a 6-3 record in the bowls is very good, especially when lower ranked SEC conference teams have to play higher ranked other conference teams. LSU was the SEC 4th ranked team playing the ACC's 2nd best.

never get a SEC invite, that the SEC dominates college football, and that #7 ranked Carolina is part of that domination including Carolina's recent 27-17 win over clemson.

Let's ask an honest question.would you want Clemson in the sec. Most Coot fans I know are bout 75 percent no. The ones in favor say yeah we would like to see y'all play the schedule and I can respect that statement because it is true. As much as you seem to coattail on the sec with your prestigious sec coaching position and we have so,much more money which gives us such and advantage and it will only get worse...I am led to,think your answer is no. Credit is due for your 4 game streak but a question you might ask yourself is this. How is it that we have still slightly out recruited y'all by rankings average overage last few yrs when y'all have such a money adv and one of the most successful,coaches in college. Spurrier can obviously turn any loser into a winner.look at y'all and he even won an acc ch at duke in 89 and I can promise you the best team in the sec would,have been the 3rd best until he went to fla. GT,Clemson and va all had better teams than the sec had at that time.I asked my bama neighbor a few doors down if he would replace his bama flag with an sec flag. He said we are the sec and knew exactly which fan base I was referring to

up untill the very end??? They are a part of the media's self-propelled machine. I'm not saying teams in the SEC aren't respectable, b/c they are. I'm just saying that Bama has created an illusion of pure-T domination that is cemented by the media which leads to a self-propelled machine for coaches and recruiting and money. But everyone in the country could see that FL's team was weak as water, but they were still in the NCAAC picture and teams from other conferences were DISQUALIFIED with 1 or 2 losses. It's just not right for college football.

we sure have no place in the SEC until Clemson admin and BOT want to do what is required to be competetive..do U think we will use steroids,pay players.eliminate academic requirements, run off 10-15 players each years that are not as good as we thought(like Socar)?????recruit thugs that good schools refuse to recruit like Socar?????
I don`t think this elimination of present standards is what Clemson stands for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
