Ok so I got tickets but need parking advice?!?!

Sep 26, 2022, 12:56 PM

I’ve never been to a game without a parking pass, where’s the best place to park without one??

It would help if you let us know where the game is being played.***

Pretty clear to everyone that's not a troll that he's talking about a home game

If you just want to park and get to the stadium, I recommend Y Beach (Snow Lot). It's on Perimeter Road/93. Come in from the west side of campus. It's paid parking with a shuttle to/from a drop-off spot that is near the baseball field. Dedicated bus lane, so you skip traffic after you park.

It's $30. You can pay in advance to guarantee your spot. If you just show up, it's first come first served.

How can I go ahead and pay to guarantee a spot?

I've searched all over, but now I can't find it. Maybe they did away with the pre-pay at Snow. You can pre-pay for C1, it's on the other side of campus but as noted in this chain there is no shuttle back to there after the game.

There’s lots of construction at Snow so I don’t know if they have parking this year.

And not to sound stupid but they also shuttle after the game right?

Come in from the west (Seneca) and turn on Perimeter Road. At the first light (before the old Y-Beach) turn right and go to the Seneca Creek Meadows (SCM) Parking lot. Last home game there was a large sign indicating free parking. If there there is not parking in the SCM lot without a permit then park along the road outside the lot and walk into the lot and take the free shuttle. It will drop you off and pick up in front of the baseball stadium.

Depending on which side of campus you're coming in on, the above will be your best bet....although coming from Seneca on Hwy 123, you'll bear onto Hwy 93, not Perimeter Rd (Perimeter is up a bit across the lake and on campus). If you're coming in from the other side of campus, they have general parking at C-1 that you can pay for ahead of time or first come, first serve on game day. They provide shuttle transportation the the Student Success Center pre-game, but no post game shuttles back.

The golf course is an option. Seen folks parked beside a putting or chipping green when I left out of the Furman game.

Downtown. Neighborhood/churches around the Abernathy/Sloan St (Addison Ln). Road by the golf course (Old Stadium Rd). C-1. Seneca Creek and take shuttle.

C-1 is a nightmare to get out of after the game. You might as well bring a tent and plan on spending the night. It is really bad following a night game. Plus it is a long haul walking back to it. It used to be free and should be free for anyone willing to park there.

St Andrew’s Catholic Church downtown at the intersection of Edgewood Ave and Sloan St has parking available for purchase on gameday. Asphalt lot and not too bad to get in and out. Cost is either $40 or $50.

The church parking lots downtown are worth the $40 - Gotta get there early though. Park and walk 50 yards to TTT.

Last time Snow was closed for construction. Seneca Creek Meadows was open to public for $30 and included shuttle ride in.
