I would sit him the rest of the year if he still is in the red shirt threshold.

The kid lost his cool for 20 seconds, it happens. You hold him accountable for his actions and make him learn from it. No doubt Dabo will not be easy on him.

Let Dabo discipline him and let him serve his time in the doghouse for a few weeks.

What if he made a play targeting? Would we feel different? Kinda same intent. I think he lost his cool and did something stupid. You discipline him and move on. Kid is a Freshman.

You can't compare targeting with throwing a punch. I'm not saying it's the end of the world and he should be kicked off or anything, but there's no comparison.
I'd say the punishment depends on how he reacts. I'd sit him for at least the game next week, and if he responds well and owns up to his mistake then maybe end it there.

Does he? I'll take your word for that as I'm not familiar with how that works. If that's the case, and if I were Dabo then I'd sit him for at least 1 game beyond whatever the NCAA/ACC penalty is.

Or he can leave. Clemson does not need that crap on the team, decision is 100 % on Booth.

Big talk with Dabo after church. Or maybe before church.

Dabo's office door will be closed.
I bet he at least threatens a redshirt, best case scenario. A blatant punch is pretty high up on Dabo's Don't list, I'm guessing.

he is a true freshmen. Use it to teach him. The death penalty is not necessary as some on here have indicated.

I would like to see that play again. It looked like the loservillian could have been called for multiple hands to the face penalties. That’s what riled Boothe.

I would set up some hard punishment tasks he has to meet before he ever steps on the field again.

Suspend him a game for fighting out in the open field and leaving no doubt. And depending on what the guy done to provoke Booth to retaliate in the way that did. I mean he run up from behind him and commenced whopping that A S S!!! That reason would determine how many games he would be suspended for!!! It is a very physical contact sport that tempers can very easily get overheated and erupt!!!
