are the windows driven by a motor/actuator?

Apr 20, 2023, 12:53 PM

there's got to be a wire providing power for the windows.

I assume there isnt a battery in the door and wireless signal connection to the switch.

I’m going to just give you a pass on this one and we will never speak of it again.

The auto-lock and mirror adjusters are in the door(s) and

those already have to be disconnected. Assuming a single harness, which would include the window control too if it was in the door.

I’m pretty sure he was joking.***

My question would be -- why does the front windshield have hinges and fold down? Who would drive without a windshield?

And.....answer

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

So a spouse can roll up the windows on the kids' heads

1

Apr 20, 2023, 1:05 PM

while the other spouse drives when the kids need discipline.

It does allow another person to control all four windows vs. being on the driver's side door.

Besides the removable door answer

Apr 20, 2023, 1:15 PM

They are also sold as left hand drive models, overseas and here for mail vehicles.

Lot cheaper to not have to change the switch configuration.
