At this point, there's really not much of an argument against them. They put up 70+ in their first two games and are now embarrassing #2 in their house. I think this game has been more about exposing Alabama rather than Ole Miss proving themselves to be elite, but Ole Miss is going to deserve whatever ranking they have on Monday.

Yeah but also they've been given a couple of gifts deep in Bama territory, the fluke TD passes, and inconsistency at QB for Bama.
I'm just saying I think Bama wins this 5 times out of 10.

Yes. They were proven as a defense, but their offense was a total question mark coming into the season.

I get that but what ticks most of us off is if it were us or another acc team they wouldn't say that. It would only be about how bad Bama played

I agree with you on that. While I don't think there is any ESPN conspiracy, I do believe that they give the SEC an outrageous benefit of the doubt. If this happens in the ACC, the story is "What a choke by #2 at home!!!!"

In all honesty, who deserves it more at this point? Ohio State struggled mightily with Northern Illinois, TCU was strongly challenged by SMU (yea, they have The Chad, but they were 0-11 last season), Southern Cal lost to Stanford, we had a horrible game vs Louisville, Florida State struggled with BC, Oregon can't stop anyone
So far, the only teams that have had a statement win are Michigan State and now Ole Miss. They both deserve top 5 rankings.
