While we do have a classic and I love it, high school kids these days like flashy brands and uniform combos appeal to them. A lot of the top players drool over being able to pick out combos. I always thought it would be cool to have the classic orange helmet, and then a clemson purple alternate and a white alternate and alternate it with uniforms.

Why do some act like it is a decision the school is trying to make? Clemson isn't ever going to make dramatic changes to their helmet. Yes they have done little tweaks here and there but the look is the same. Just admire it for what it is, a concept helmet. No one is trying to change tradition and by liking the helmet it isn't some how an endorsement of change. Who knows if they'll ever do anything but we do know that while Dabo is here it isn't going to change because he is a traditionalist. If you don't like it fine but trying to say you don't like it because you somehow think it endorses change is asinine. It's all for fun nothing less nothing more. I like the helmet but that doesn't mean I want to see them wearing it today.
