I love contradicting statements from the GT coach.
Situation that makes him happy: The NCAA is great and made a great decision in letting our new player be eligible.
Situation that makes him mad: The NCAA does not do things the right way and is not interested in what is best for the kids.

Sims is eligible and Clayton isn't...I think they got the transfer waivers mixed up. Both were down on the depth chart but Sims just wanted to be closer to home and Clayton the same, but because of his sick mother. Seems like Sims just didnt like where he was and wanted a re-do. Clayton seemed like he was struggling to the see the field in Gainesville and Collins was his buddy from a few years ago. Atlanta is closer to his hometown but not by much.
Makes no sense how the NCAA decides these things....I do feel bad for Clayton, especially considering Sims was ruled eligible.

It sure does suck for the schools of the SEC West that they keep getting the tiny section labelled "Declare Academic Fraud" on the wheel.
It seems a lot worse than the section that several schools always seem to land on labelled "Transfer eligible, move forward 3 spaces and ignore one recruiting violation"

Whatever thoughts you had of the game outcome before this, stay with them bc this changes nothing, TL has proven playing against teams with a lot better talent than GT, that he could throw the ball around them, over them and under them for completions!!!
