We go to Pittsburgh mad & ready to play against a hostile crowd. It’s going to be a tough game but Dez Tigers ?? will prevail in a close one again. What say you?

Our defense keeps us in another game enough to beat the coastal champs who we will end up playing again in the ACC Championship.

If your Tigers beat my Panthers, it will be a lower score than that.
If you could only score 17 against Syracuse and 14 against GT... you're not getting 26 at Pitt.
If the Tigers win, it will be something like 16-13.
Put another way... if the OVER hits, Pitt wins. If the UNDER hits, Clemson probably wins.

Smart post by the visitor with PA ties.
If Clemson's O-Line doesn't come together up there on Saturday, you'll be right on the mark with your "lower score" prediction. Our O-Line stunk it up vs. GA Tech and had not yet gelled vs. Syracuse. But we've got good (but mostly under-classmen) on O-Line players who are getting accustomed to playing together. Nothing like Pitt's outstanding & highly experienced O-Line.
But if we block well, then Clemson wins (and score in the '20's or maybe '30's). If we don't block well, then you'll smoke us.

Nothing I have seen so far this season says we hit 21 points. If our defense can hold them to no more than 2 scored we win by 3 to 7 points.

The score was 17-7 and the game was well under control last week when the defense gave up that long scoring pass and then they simply could not stop 3rd and long over and over again on the last Syracuse possession.
The offense has been correctly criticized, but if were honest, it was the defense that couldn’t put the game away up at Syracuse.
Injuries have helped make both units much less effective than the could and should be.
The defensive backfield was pretty porous against Syracuse. Long chunk plays allowed, and then continuous failure to get off the field the last 2 minutes leading up to the missed FG. A lot of unnecessary drama and heart burn.
We need to see some guys get back from injury on both offence AND defense.

Don’t disagree. 3rd down defense has been disappointing but I think injuries and our offense are the main culprits.

Mason Trotter started at center Friday because of Covid protocol “injury” to Hunter Rayburn just when Hunter had found his home as a starter.
Will Putnam missed the BC game.
Every starting WR has been hurt and missed time and I would still list Justyn Ross as walking wounded ... no way he's 100% mentally and maybe not physically.
Will Shipley was looking great until he got hurt.
We lost both starting TEs against BC.
Injuries are “a part of the game”, but some seasons for some teams, they are an insignificant part and other seasons for other teams, they completely kill the teams prospects.

We are having a bunch of yard work done at the house. Friday afternoon the landscapers cut my cable and internet. I was not able to watch the game for the first time in years. Was invited over to watch it with friends but declined as I did not want them hearing the things that sometimes come out of my mouth at times when our Tigers struggle. Realized that everything in our house is internet driven and we do not even have a dang radio. Go figure. So I did not watch the game - I kept up with it on my phone as I painted the upstairs bonus room.
I must say it was easier on my heart to just see the final score and that we had won the game.
Now that the cable is fixed I will of course be watching the game. I am sure the occasional moments of insanity will occur and our Tigers will kick a field goal with 30 seconds left on the clock and have to survive a ball thrown into the end zone from our 10 yard line as the prevent defense lets them get too close for comfort.

I hope I'm wrong but Clemson is likely to lose this one. I think Pitt will score in the first quarter and then our defense will adjust and hold them scoreless until they tire out in the 4th quarter. Pitt will score again in the 4th quarter.

I haven't seen any offensive spark to make me think we're going to start scoring this week.

Dj has his first 300yd game of the year, and really can’t believe that so many tiger fans are scared out of their minds oc Pitt it’s hilarious, yes they can score but it seems y’all forgotten our defense is second in the nation. Pitt isn’t on a national title level so I think our defense will be just fine against them.

If we go back to our normal Clemson up tempo play, spread the field offensively, build in some misdirection plays into our run and pass game, utilize more slant routes and position players, and run a few hitch-and-go longer pass plays the score will be: CLEMSON 31 PIT 17

I hate it but this teams struggles and Dabo continued BS has turned me I to a Saturday afternoon grill master! I watch "at" our Tigers. If it's no big deal to the him then I've stopped worrying about what this team does. Still love Clemson and keep sending the checks. But at this point who cares!! Gun to my head I'd say Pitt 34 Tigers 20. Short passing game kills tigers and we cant score!
