that the ACC only gets four team into the NCAAT? I'm not buying it!

I think UNC, Duke, UVA, Clemson and Wake are all legitimate tournament teams and, frankly, a compelling case could also be made for Syracuse.

What say ye!?!?!

largely because 32 teams qualify by automatic bid. The other 36 teams receive at-large bids. NC Sate and Pitt would destroy many of those 32 automatic qualifiers.
